looks to me like the ad is to old, from April of this year. When did you buy the car, 8 months ago? Did you inspect the car before purchase?

Subject: Re: RJ RaceSpace: Hello
This person is trying to pull a scam. I sold him a brogie roadster. When the car left my possession, put on a cheap transporter, guy with a 24 foot beat up car trailer,it was in good shape.I had trouble getting my money from this guy. I live in oregon he lives in Quebec.Anything could have happened after car left my posession.Wish him no ill will.

That sounds a little suspect to me: "Anything could have happened after car left my posession" Sounds like a typical cop out to me. Transport companies just dont typically crash cars, repair and repaint them, the deliver them. We need more proof from both sides to make a determination, but based on the sellers weak response,I'm going to say the buyer was misrepresented the condition of the car.
We need a more clear picture of what actually happened.

I am still wondering how old this deal was? All the ads I try and pull up are dated April?? Thats a long time to decide you got screwed...

Yes, You are right. I have never used the forum before.
I am very proud of my reputation,I have never had any complaints before.I only sold this car due to divorce, otherwise I would still be racing it.I told him it had a nice paint job but could stand a repaint. The car was never crashed or damaged while in my posession. What happened before I owned it, or after, I have no idea, nor do I care. The car drove straight and I went many rounds with it. I hope he enjoys the car. I thank you for bringing this to my attention. I will not spend too much time on this, as I feel him to be a scammer. Why wait eight or nine months to say anything.Like I say I wish him the best and this will be my last on the subject

Not taking sides, but I have never been able to race a car I bought right away. My Bob Meyer dragster was virtually perfect having made only a 40 foot burnout. I buy the car and it sits in my garage for a couple years. I start getting it ready to possibly run and notice the axle is tough to remove. Turns out the burnout was a very expensive, run over the crank type and tweaked the rear end. Out it came and back to Meyer to be fixed.
Now if this Roadster had a chassis issue, you should be able to visually see it right away. Post up some pics of your issues with it.
