Does anyone know an Anthony/Tony Scott from Naples Florida??? His add was #1970534. I sent him 925.00 usd 5 weeks ago as a bank draft he has cashed it and won't return any of my e-mails and i haven't recieved the parts yet. any suggestions...never been scammed before on here...seemed like a decent enough guy.

This is the first time I've heard from you since August 27 Tony...and definitely the first time you have mentioned the extra $75.00 which I have no problem paying now that I know about it. I know you got your $925.00 on August 31st I had my Bank check it out on this end and have never heard from you since the 27th after e-mailing you 4 times. My business has 2 buildings one in Canada and one in the USA...all my parts/freight are recieved at my NY building and I pick-up there twice a week. It's been there over 10 years so it definitely exists...here it is again.

Once I receive The rest of the money for the check cashing fee and shipping cost to complete the shipping deal or a return shipping request, I will send the parts. I have been scammed to many times in the past as I explained to you before. I checked out the address that was sent to me and did not exist. The parts were wanted to be sent to a New York address and the check was a Canadian bank draft and the bank it was drawn on would not even cash it. I had to go to a private check cashing place to get it cashed in which it cost me $ 75.00 to cash it. I have requested several times for you to call me and you will not call me you just send me emails periodically. I am not a scammer and don't appreciate being called one. I will send you the parts when I receive the full price for the parts and the paid shipping request as I have explained several times. If not I will send you the money back ($ 925.00 less the $75.00 it cost me to cash the check) Let me know what you want to do. If you want your money back please send me a shipping request pick up and I will send it off. I will wait to hear from you as to what you are going to do. Tony Scott

Just an observation here....

The original post complained of not getting parts & seller had the money. Original poster wanted help "had never been scammed before"... help was initiated. Once the help came, he wanted help to back off? Seen this before? Yep. Meanwhile, people like Scorp try to give input; only to have the situation minimized by the original poster calling it a "miscomunication".... you cannot be half pregnant!! Either someone is not telling the truth or they should HAVE NEVER CAME HERE & ASKED FOR HELP. JMO!!!

Feelings might be tender right now but there is an opportunity for everyone to be happy. This is a tough economy and we all need good deals. This is the reason most of us buy from sites like this. You guys have made contact with each other and it sounds like this one can be fixed in a timely manner without to much more trash talk. Take this for what its worth as it is only my opinion.

Bottom line- my9secsky is right; a solution & a close to a deal is best case. When compared to some of the other deals on here, this one could be a hell of a lot worse. Now i can agree with ''Tony'' on a Canadian check I sold some pushrods to a guy in Canada and he sent a Canadian check and my bank which i have banked there for almost 30 years wouldn't touch it. I sent it back and the guy sent cash. JMO Mark

I filed a fraud an online complaint with the FBI in a situation just like this, FBI arrested the idiot and he received 18 months in jail. Go for it

Just sent him a message. Let's see if he comes back and tells his side. I am deleting my last post because he contacted me and gave me some info. I would say you need to pick up the phone and call tony to make this right. He said you promised him you would retract this before he sent you the parts. Not taking sides and would like to see this solved but it has to come from both of you guys. Call him, he is expecting you to.

No problem Carl. As far as retracting all you have to do is go in to the thread and hit edit in the top right corner of everything you wrote and deleting it all the way back to the first letter and It will disappear. You have to leave Atleast 1 letter. You are the only one who can do it.

my9secskylark...thanks for checking in on this. Yes it is still ongoing. On Nov. 4th Tony agreed to send the parts finally and once I got them I would retract my statements...on Thursday after 2 more weeks of waiting and no contact from him he changed the deal again and said I have to retract the statements first...no problem.

The matter with Tony Scott in my opinion is overwith...my part has been done since OCT.23rd when he got the 2nd money order...and I hope he carries out his part of the deal on Monday as promised. I just want this deal over and done with...there is no reason it should have taken 3 months. I guess we both share some of the blame for that.

Tony...I checked with the moderator and they can't/don't remove threads...for good reasons too. I'll send you my PM to him if you need proof...but that doesn't give you the right to drag this on any longer than it already has.

Well I sent Tony Scott the other $75.00 he claimed I owed him for the fee to cash a Bank Draft plus an extra $40.00 to upgrade the shipping to 3 day as a US Postal Money Order. I haven't heard from him in 3 weeks again and have only heard from him once in the 2 months since he recieved the rest of my money(Aug.31st) He claimed he would send me a tracking # when he recieved the other $75.00...I have made a request at least 12-15 times for one now with no response.
In the mean time I bought another pan and belt drive...another $1100.00 gone but at least didn't get scammed again. Tony Scott cost me 6 weeks of racing and missed 3 points races I had to do something to get out with my car/engine.
My question is...Has anyone ever filed a Wire/Mail fraud case and gotten any positive results??? Its a 3rd Degree Felony in Florida and a Federal crime but I don't want to pursue it if it's a dead-end. I have all my evidense/paperwork in order. If not I will start sending people to his house to collect for me...my money or the parts it doesn't matter at this point.
Anyone have any other ideas how to deal with someone that won't communicte at all? I was going to talk with LLE in Naples to see if they can do anything...is this a dead end too???

So why not retract this and see if the guy sends you the parts/money in a reasonable time. If he gives you a verifiable tracking number in say 2 weeks then you get what you want even if it is late.

If he does not make good all you have to do is get back on here and start another subject on him.

If he makes good, you should also come back on here and say all is good as far as parts or money.

If indeed you won't call him to work it out, that doesn't look good on your part either unless of course he does not answer.

Which it is not. my9secskylark posted it on here that you can delete the postings yourself and you are the only one that can but obviously refuse to. So where does this leave this at. You don't fulfill your obligation in the beginning with the right amount of money so I don't send the parts. In the mean time you go on here slandering me and then you send me the balance and said you would remove the posts. This never took place just more slandering going. So as far as I am concerned you still have not fulfilled your contracted obligation. I have said it before and will say it again, when you re-tract your statements and remove the negative posts then I will send the parts/money to you. I have also spoken with council on this and have been told I have a great slander/defimation case. To file wire fraud you have to have intent and obviuosly there is no intent. You want your named clear send the parts and then you can clear yourself. If you have sent the parts and he has them there is nothing bad anyone can say.

Why do people come back and delete their posts after the deal is "fixed" This irritates me because if I do a search for either of your user names,I would like to be able to see the problems you have had not just an edited post that says"done"

Glad you got it worked out but now a user that searches and finds this thread will have no info to make an opinion from except that some of the posts were stamped.In this case I think the people involved would look better if the real info was left. It tells a better story than my imagination...the fact that your names are here says "crook" since you have erased the evidence that says you are not a crook.

It may be a case of two hardheads not wanting to give in to each other at worst. Glad to see it is working out.
