timming chain

Is there a difference in bolt pattern for the timming chain between a bbc gen 6 and a bbc gen 4.? Purchased a high dollar Cloyes to fit under the stock cover of my gen 6 block,but i'm using a mark 4 solid roller cam,bolt pattern appears to be smaller on the Cloyes cam gear.

After i thought about a while,i/ll bet they closed up the bolt pattern on the gen 5 - 6 for the cam retaining ring on those engines.WOW. Any body want to buy a cloyes double roller chain for a gen 6 cheap?LOL!!! I JUST HATE IT WHEN I DO STUPID THINGS. There went 193 bucks.
