What ET should this combo run in the 1/8
74 nova around 3200lbs 383 12.6 Dart 215 heads 550/571 lift cam 256/268 @0.50 advertised 292/302 solid lift. The car has a TH350 with 4000 stall and 4.56 gear on alky. The car has been 7.32 but I think it should run quicker. Do you think this sounds correct or should it be faster?

if its 500 hp it should run 7.2 or so. did i read right? 12.6 motor on alchohol? or e 85? anyways depending on your suspension set up you might be about right. how much hp do you think your motor makes? if its making more then yeah it should be faster.

I assume your speaking of 1/8 mile ETS.
IMO the 456 gearing in your car is gonna hold you back.
A 488 or a 513 would be better choices, with that, I dont see 700's or 690's out of reach.

The motor should be making around 500hp. Its on alchool I have not tried E85 but have thought about it. The car has 26x10in tires on it. The best 60ft is 1.56.

Everything Seems to AD -UP?
With a 26 Tall Tire your Ok with the 4.56,what does it go accross the Stripe @ RPM 's?
There MIGHT be a tenth more left, but with the COMBO you have its VERY Close!

The motor turns about 6,000 at the finish line and shift at 6500. Iam thinking about adding more converter to see if that helps a little but I don't know if it will be worth the cost.

IF?Its ONLY 6000 at the Stripe,go down to a 5.13 Gear that will put you just Over 7 G's.
How much and what size is the Converter?
I would think a 9" around 48-5000.should be Good.

The converter is a TCI 10in 4000. It flashes around 4200.
