Liars

I HATE effffinnn liars! I wonder how much of ones life is consumed when you wait on a liar? This guy named Art, from Greensboro NC came and looked at my trailer...........Stayed about an hour, after being late by several hours. He calls me about 15 minutes after he leaves and says he no doubt wants the trailer. I will pick it up in the a.m., great I think.
I spend another couple hours removing car parts for my Nova, cleaning counters just a little, sweeping, etc. Goofing off really, trailer was already clean.
In the a.m. I double check all paperwork, tire pressure on trailer, you know the spill. Noon rolls around, no Art. I callk the clown, "I had a work emergency in Durham. I was cool with that, a bit unhappy he didn't call me right away, says he will be here tonight. Art calls in the evening, wants to know who to make the cashiers check out to!!! It had been made quite clear previously, that cash is what I accept as payment. That is when he became sort of a dick, said he would bring the cash and pick it up in the morning :roll:
Second day, noon rolls around........I call Art, he wants to bring his generator to verify the a/c works, no problem with me I told him. Says he will be there in about 1.5 hours, he is on the way!!
Three hours later, I call Art.........."My generator won't start I am trying to borrow one now".
This is when I told Art to go suck eggs! I don't know how much more time I should have given, if any. I figure I had at least 10 hours of waiting and showing to be stood up by a LIAR!
I loved Arts words "I am a man of my word, consider it sold"!
Thanks Art for the ten hours of my life I won't get back!
I have no doubt you were trying to get the money up and couldn't!

Rudy some people are just rude and do not respect others or even understand how to communicate with people.
On the back of my truck and on my signiture it says. "Doesn't play well with others". It is for reasons just like the moran you just dealt with.
Wish I had the extra money to buy the trailer myself!!

Guy's tell you what i did the other day . Not as funny as Rudy's or Rigsby but here goes. I am restoring a 71 Dodge Challenger for my wife, she thought i had sold it 3 years ago but i took it to the body shop for full restoration. Well i took my rollback to work so i could pickup the challenger.When i got home i relized i had left all my other key's in the house. That's right i could not get in house,garage,nothing except rollback so i thought.When i got out of it i had hit the door lock button. And yes the key's were hanging the switch, My wife wasn't at home she was at a meeting at the hospital where she work's. Now about the time i was sitting on the deck a large thunder storm hit no where to go. And to top it off i was in my greasy uniform from work and as some of you know i am a paramedic for the local rescue, and i had duty at 6;00 PM. I sit out in the rain under a tree untill 8:00 untill she got home. The car is in my other garage not at home.

That is pretty cool that you are hiding the Challenger from your wife like that! She is going to be excited... that is good for a few points for sure. You will have to tell what she does when you give it back to her!!

my wife hates my car... says its loud, shakes the windows inside the house, hits her head on the roll bar, not a big fan of it. If I had more of a driver, she would appreciate it more.
