Sounds like the guy should have checked the van out a little more closely before he loaded it up and took it away. You really don't know me and i wasn't praising anybody. No i am not best friends with james or anthony either. I really have traded a couple of times with them and not had any problems at all other than driving up there. The only reason i saw the post is that i like to keep up with the current scammers on here because i do alot of trading myself. I don't usually post on here, but i saw his user name in the post. I posted what i knew about them and got labeled a "newbie" and my opinion was dismissed. If you really don't know someone you should at least hear what they have to say don't you think? First to James, i'm a little amazed that you have traded/sold 300 vehicles and didn't know what your son was trading. If i would have a $10,000.00 vehicle for sale or trade i would know every bolt and nut on it and have proof of it. As for Anthony, he is a child and i don't care if he's 9 yrs old or 15 yrs. old it's your responsibility to know what he's doing and control what he's doing. He can in no way know much about cars even if he's been watching/helping you since he was 10 yrs. old ( and i've seen some nice cars that you have owned/sold in your posting)
Now about Top sportmans post about IP addresses. I'm a little amazed that you didn't know what he was talking about. Every computer logged into RJ shows too him where it's comming from, being a mod for another site for yrs., we have the soft ware to actually see where you live, your physical address ph # etc. and anything else that we might want too know. You are not unknown once you log into the site, every computer has a foot print, how do think the law and fBI track child porn?
O'K about the two vehicles, first i don't like either one of them, 3rd generation Camero's are a dime a doz., the vans i can't believe any body would want one.
2ndly i'm not sure the van that Anthony posted was the bad azz van from Pinks, the van on pinks had port holes, your's did not. I have too admit that the van sounded better than the camero in the vid., but that's only a cam. The Camero sounded like a stock 427 or a stock 454 in my opinion. Still i think you got the better deal, the Camero is a 6 second car with a few changes with what it has. It sounded like it didn't have a gear, converter, or good tuning, maybe some fuel problem. I'd bet money i could turn it into a 6 second car in 48 hrs. for a few hundred bucks. The car weighs 3350 lbs fractory weight. I don't think it has a .738 cam and even if it does it's to big for a pump gas motor. Here's what a 468" pump gas motor is supposed too sound like, the cam is only .659/663 with a 1050 dom.

I built the motor in this car and yes i know every bolt and nut, and everything about it, and yes the 9.77 is ligit it ran that at Baton Rouge in March at 137 mph in the qtr. It weighs 3700 lbs without the 200 lb driver.
With that said i still donot believe Anthony should be selling anything without supervision, and far as Burns is concerned he should butt out, he doesn't have a clue about racing or building.

I think the Camero (spell check) is a 6 second car no matter what size the engine is. Anthony PM'ed me and said he was told the gears were 3.73's and i don't know what size tires they put on the car, but with a PG and 3.70 gears, to my knowledge ford doesn't make a 3.73 gear (could be wrong on that one) but it's definately not the way too go. James said he was impressed how it blew the tires off on the street, but the track is a lot different. Here's ford gear ratio's
3.50 - 3.70 - 3.89 - 4.11 - 4.30 - 4.56 - 4.71 - 4.86 - 5.00 - 5.14 - 5.29 - 5.43 - 5.67 - 5.83 - 6.00 - 6.20 - 6.33 - 6.50

And for (Seth) i never said you were stupid, just like of knowledge, which comes with trial and error and age. I built my first car at 16, wasn't very fast but managed a trophy at 17 with it. It took me 10 yrs. with marriage babies and buying a house, and going too school before i got fast, with a then new ground up built car, again with trial and error and patience.

It cost a min. of $4000.00 to $5000.00 dollars to make a Camero certify to 8.50 due too the unibody chassis, those are the things you will learn as you have more experiece in building a race car. I'm not knocking you for like of experience, but i will say as you put it wait until you see my Camero, mismatched fenders, paint, interior, and the list goes on. If you spent as much time on working on you car as you do the computer, you could make it more presentable when it get's too the track. I don't care if it runs 10's it should be something you are proud of and not something you just saved from a crusher. Drag racers are a proud people, everything i own is first class in appearance as are most of the other people on this forum. Not everyone can be the fastest person at the track, but no one will/can laugh at what we bring too the track and that's one thing you should keep in mind when you start building a race car, be it a steet car or an all out race car. Don't let yourself get into thinking that's it's o'k no matter how it looks i just want to go racing. I think the Camero (spell check) is a 6 second car no matter what size the engine is. Anthony PM'ed me and said he was told the gears were 3.73's and i don't know what size tires they put on the car, but with a PG and 3.70 gears, to my knowledge ford doesn't make a 3.73 gear (could be wrong on that one) but it's definately not the way too go. James said he was impressed how it blew the tires off on the street, but the track is a lot different. Here's ford gear ratio's
3.50 - 3.70 - 3.89 - 4.11 - 4.30 - 4.56 - 4.71 - 4.86 - 5.00 - 5.14 - 5.29 - 5.43 - 5.67 - 5.83 - 6.00 - 6.20 - 6.33 - 6.50

And for (Seth) i never said you were stupid, just like of knowledge, which comes with trial and error and age. I built my first car at 16, wasn't very fast but managed a trophy at 17 with it. It took me 10 yrs. with marriage babies and buying a house, and going too school before i got fast, with a then new ground up built car, again with trial and error and patience.

Burns you didn't piss me off, i don't think you pissed anybody off, it's just sometimes things are better left unsaid, And if you saw a serious racer kicking everything in his trailer after losing a race, i don't think that's a serious racer, just another hothead at the track. I don't know anyone who would do that and we are for the most part serious racers. We may be upset with our losing but we don't take it out on the equipment, we instead try to figure out how we lost and hopefully make sure to not make the same mistake next time. Case it point Charles/cpex a couple weeks ago lost with a terrible light, like a .6 something on a .500 tree, i can assure you he didn't get out of the car and start kicking the the wheels are anything else, he came back the next week and won, and we all have fun when we go to the track racing. We're all friends until we get too the starting line and then every person for himself and i don't know anyone who wouldn't go help a fellow racer if needed even if that person put them out the round before, it's what drag racing is all about. I've never been to Pick Wick, but it looks like a nice little country track, i may get there one day.
