he wont be back, after exposing all the different names and listings I would say I did stumble upon something. RACECOWARD just let me know that I hit the mark and the letter was the icing on the cake. Any of them want to mess with me, come on over, I am waiting patiently. The letter, envelope and RJ ID's including RACECOWARD have been turned over to the proper authorities. You know it does seem when written threats cross state line the big boys, FBI, do want to get involved. Who knows, they might even arrest someone, if not I dont care. A written threat against Chris and his family and this thread continues with Chuck Norris jokes- wow. Not trying to throw a wet blanket on this but I think it tends to diminish the seriousness of the threat- Chris' family was made a part of this.

I would encourage each person who is part of the RJ Family to look for anything that they can find that will assist Chris and LE in finding this guy or guys and applying the appropriate charges.

Its Federal Crime to send a Letter like that thru the US Postal System.. Chris i would turn it over to the Post Master and let them do their Thing..i assure you NO-One wants the Post Master on them...they employee the assistance of all law enforcement Local,State and Feds.

I have been checking IP'S and looking for Any match to come across this board that is out of place .we will not tolerate threats of anykind on this board.If I catch anyone threatening someone in a serious manner (forum related) I will BAN them in a skinny minute and urge the person being threatned to pursue the matter thru law enforcement.

We live in a different world then amost of us was brought up in. Any and all threats should be taken serious..

Now as far as Cris (harbone66)...I read his 1st post and I saw nothing wrong in what he did or said, he was asking very open ended questions in the scammer section...which is what the section is designed for.

nothing, the prints on the letter didnt match anything in the criminal data base. the good news is now they do have a good set of prints and if they show up anywhere they are now logged in the Post Office and FBI system. These guys are nothing but a bunch of losers that had someone catch onto their game and that someone was me! So if they are reading this they know what they can suck on and I am sure they are good at it!!! :lol:

I got the same message from Racing Junk yesterday. I don't remember ever having any contact with that name, but glad to see RJ looking into him. Thanks Harbone for looking out for this site.

I try to flag any of the Hot Rod section weekend scammer ads that are a new member, with no phone number, single picture of a real nice car at 1/2 of normal price. They seem to post after RJ staff goes home for the weekend and it stays on there until the staff returns on Monday. Then they take them down. Often 10 ads right in a row.

I suggested RJ charge $1 each ad for new members for first 30 days of membership. It might eliminate the ads or at least RJ would make some money off them.
