been talking to a few people on this and im getting all kinds of answers. i'm carb shopping now and undecided on mechanical or vacuum secondaries. i've had the vac carbs before and was thinking on going mechanical just to see how that goes.
its for mostly street use.
360 + .040, 3000 stall, torker, 28" tire, 287 comp cam, about 2800lbs. 3:54 rear gear. auto. manual shift body.
no idea on the hp.

any thoughts, tips, idears?

thanks

If it is for mostly street use, I would go vacuum secondaries.

Vacs are tamer for the street, however it depends on your personal driving style and what you're willing to put up with in regards to drivability manners.

4150's are calibrated richer at cruise speeds.

650 HO by AED, This is a mechanical secondary (double pumper) I would also add a 1 inch ported torque flow spacer, you have plenty of stall for a mechanical secondary to perform just fine.
