fuel line size

Anybody tell what size fuel line I should use to feed an aeromotive A2000 pump and an A 1000 regulator ? I used 1/2 in. but I'm being told by some I need to use 5/8 line for feed and return

Are you running Gas or Alky ??

5/8 or -10 AN is good for your supply but I think it's too big for a return. It should be more like 3/8 or -6 AN. JMO
