WTF are people thinking?

Why would you buy from someone with feedback this bad? :?

I wonder if this guy is related to "LittleROD"

Some people must enjoy getting ripped off.

As long as Ebay gets thier percentage they dont care, its free money to them no matter how many idiots get scammed. What I want to know is why you would read the sellers bio, then buy from them.

Funny thing is this guy has 726 items for sale right now, and has only made 181 transactions in 12 months. Goes to show a sucker is born every minute.

Because just like here ... they pay them money to stay or they have a chance to make a few bucks in the future from them.

Most these sites could care less about scamming anyone .. as long as they get the $$$ you can get screwed, terrible !

Not defending Ebay or RJ, but the feed back is just feedback. These types of dealers get the unsuspecting first time buyers/novices that have no clue how to check out the dealers. We see it almost every day here on RJ, where someone got scammed. There's no way to stop this from happening, because the dealers/scammers prey on these types of individuals. I'll be the first to admit i got scammed on ebay when i had just 3 purchases with a second chance offer on a ligit ebay page. It cost me $1,000.00 and it looked like a ligit deal, but wanted a MO forwarded western union. That was 5 yrs. ago. After the deal was exposed Ebay it was not their deal, but a hacked deal.
Bottom line donot accept second chance offers, donot send Western Union, do only paypal, keep all transactions/emails/conversations.
I'm very concerned with dealing with some people here on RJ. There are people i have dealt with and have sent parts without payment and visaversa, but these are people who are here on the forum whom i feel like i know and trust (hehe not little HOTROD) Randy/aka/ Gimmemud, sent me over a complete T&D Rocker assy to try a couple yrs. ago no payment out front. I sent Ed Wilson, before he dieded and was still working/building engines parts, and the list goes on. I did a bunch of machine work for Ron at RLmotorsports, out front.
Bottom line if you trust the person do it, if you don't know them be weary.

It is such a shame because when I started buying/selling on ebay in 2001 it was FUN! They started raising their fees, and it didn't take long for me to see that when you needed them for something, ebay was clearly looking out for ebay and NOT their PAYING customers. I hope that racing junk never takes this route.

He has picked up three more negatives since I started this thread....I almost don't feal sorry for them....All his bad feedback said that he never shipped the item....so they bought from him anyway and then are upset when he screws them.

ALSO JUST NOTICED "NO LONGER A REGISTERED USER"

Zip is right, feedback is just tool for the savoy buyer.

Personally I wont even buy from a seller with less than 98% feedback, even then I'm leary.

I agree to a point...but I always read the feedback because many times the negative isn't deserved....I've seen several where the buyer left bad feedback and when I looked at the auction it clearly stated what the buyer was complaining about...But when I see negatives that say "Never recieved item" I won't bid.

Did eBay step up or did he quit will never know I guess :?:

I seriously doubt ebay stepped up. He more than likely did not pay the fees on his seller account.
