I have never had the trans in the house but I've had wheels and every single piece of the engine except the block.
You know you're a gearhead when you go shopping for a garage that has a detached House in the front yard.

Now that's funny, i did just that, in 2004 when i sold a 3300 sq. ft. house with 14 acres, in Ms. and moved to La. I found a 34X66 ft. shop, with a 1430 sq.ft. in the front on 1 1/4 acre.
Zip.

Or like I've done. Built a 24 x 36 shop out front. It was the flattest and best place to put it. As I tell people, I hid the house. Imagine, someday, someone will come to look at this place and just shake their head!! If they buy it. They'll really throw a fit when they have to move the old #4 Arbor Press I have setting in the shop, LOL! Can't see anyone else (except a fellow racer maybe) ever wanting it.

You might be a gearhead if your wife threatens to divorce you if she stubs her toe on another racecar part laying around the house.
You might be a gearhead if you use the slicks off of your racecar and a piece of glass to make a coffee table during the winter.

My wife comes out of the shower grumbling about the drain not staying open far enough to drain the water during a shower.
You might be a gearhead if this was your method of repair!
