Sent him $600 for a carburetor dec 12 he neveer sent carburetor, and will not answer phone calls. He currently has two other ads. Ads 1770114 and 1770124. Contacted racing junk, they wont help. Why would I ever use this site again? Stay away from FREDRICK805 Simi Valley CA.

its good to see first timer putting some of the needed info in first post. i myself have only one request and that is not to bash rj. rj can not be held resonable for all sellers/buyers. they are just a place for everyone to do buisness. please keep this in mine the site is basically a long distance swap meet.and by bashing them is like bashing a convention center cause someone wasnt honest on a sale.

I would think after notifying RJ that they would at least pull his other 2 ads to stop this from happening to someone else. That was all the help I was asking for from RJ.

I filed a theft report with my local sheriff's office and they were forwarding it to Simi Valley police to look into. I called the SV police and they said they would look at the report and see if there was anything they could do. Also filed a report with the postal inspector because we used a postal money order which is postal fraud if you don't have your item in 30 days according to our local prosecutor.

Considering calling JUDGE JUDY since she is in CA.

Ask him for the tracking number. I have asked numerous times and he wont respond to me. If the carb was truly sent he would have a tracking number. His ad states he would give me a tracking number which he never has. Thanks for the help I can get no response at all either by email or phone.

We told him this evening we wanted our money back and guess what ,we got a tracking number 5 minutes later. After he has started receiving emails from all you kind people we may be getting somewhere.

I checked the tracking # at UPS.com and they have received electronic billing for a 12 lb pkg to our city just TODAY. Maybe we will get it afterall, question is what will really be in the box?

The one year old da vinnci carb turn into a old 1150 stock carb. I sent the carb on to da vinnci carbs they said it wasn't one of theirs and wouldn't even run on their dyno. I have an idea.

Lets make an example of Frederick Gendall.

If we were to collect $25 from each forum regular and reader and hold it in escrow we could assist the buyer in prosecuting Mr. Gendall- assuming that he is at fault.

Obtain Counsel in his state and sue him- I will contribute a refernce as to an attorney in his state- I can have as soon as Friday as I have a meeting with our Outside Counsel. Lets wipe the smug little smile off his mug.

Wow a 610 cu in BBC 1320 HP 1150 cfm carb seems a little small. This guy I'm guessing doesn't own such an engine or race. Either way he is a low life. Because if it was a DaVinnci carb that is only one season old it would still have the decals on the float bowls.

Sent the carb on to davinnci they said it wasnt one of his. Sight plug was broke and the carb hadnt been run for a long while. Davinnci said all I got for my money was a stock 1150 core worth $300. If fredrick wants to make this right he should send me $300 back.

look at the boss where the air filter stud screws in , the one in ad is alot shorter than the other pics ,( it grew) also as I stated earlier different bowl vents . JMO and how in the world did it get so nasty so quick???again , JMO

Also look where the throttle linkage connects, on the ad the parts is almost black. on the carb he got its more of a gold patena like the carb. also the vent tubes, as noted earlier, are different...
