World of Wheels rosemont Illinois

Any one going to the World of Wheels in Rosemont Illinois this coming March 5th thru the 7th? If so look for a Copper colored 1972 Blown Buick Skylark presented by the Kids at T.F. Highschool from Calumet City Illinois. The kids in the shop class painted my car and did a "Hell of a job" Stop by and say hello. I would be more than pleased to meet you and shake your hand. Don't forget to tell these kids what a great job they did.

your in luck! the World of Wheels in coming back to Des Moines,IA on March 19-21, 2010 at the Iowa Event Center( near the old Vets Auditorium downtown.
also there is a World of Wheels Show in Omaha,NE on March 12-14,2010.

Oh! by the away I wish I could make it to Chicago, but since I have to work the Des Moines Show I wouldn't have enough vacation time to do both. I will be selling programs on Saturday afternoon in Des Moines stop by and say HI!

I remeber when it was upstairs, downstairs and took a whold day to go thru. I guess those times are back, i didnt get there yet but ive heard they got 700 cars. I'll find out tomarrow. BTW, Marion cathloic, Bloom in Chicago Hts and then VJ Andrew for the last 2... Those were the days. :)

I stopped by on sat about 4;30 pm talked to the kids, they said you were walkin around , the kids did a great job on the car, they should be very proud of there work ! sorry I missed you. :cry: It was a great show, Im glad they took it out of chicago :D

I was really impressed with the outcome of this years show. Combineing World of Wheels w/ Vettefest, Voodo Larry and his crowd and all the other stuff was a good thing. Something for everyone. Hopefully it gets bigger and better in years to come instead of smaller like it did at McCormic Place.

X2, the move to rosemont was a good one!! the parking was even $6 cheaper than chicago!! $19 parking at chicago, THERE OUT OF THERE MIND!!

Sorry I missed any of you that stopped by. The kids got 2nd place for best paint for the high school class. The car got 2nd place for best street machine.
Wow, some really hot women were there.
