From Tea Party Boise;
Dear Tea Partiers,
Last night, self-proclaimed "Independent Republican", Scott Brown's convincing victory over heavily favored Democrat Martha Coakley sent shockwaves throughout America, and once again illustrated the unmatched power of the people to change history. The Constitution is alive and well, and ordinary Americans are rediscovering its wisdom and power.
Consider the magnitude of this win.
For a full year a runaway Democratic and progressive majority in the House and Senate, coupled with a President who would be more comfortable in a totalitarian government, have ignored American outrage at massive deficits, out of control spending, increased taxes, complete corruption of the political process with open bribes and an arrogance that dwarfs any seen in American politics in a generation.
The Democratic Speaker of the House, Nancy Pelosi sneered when asked if mandatory health insurance is a power provided to her in the Constitution, snapping, "You've got to be kidding". Well, such questions from ordinary, concerned Americans were valid, and last night, the Speaker of the House, Majority Leader Harry Reid and President Obama found out first hand that the people weren't kidding!
In Massachusetts, the home of the original Boston Tea Party, and where the first Americans sent a message to the last dictator who tried to keep us in bondage, the same band of Americans just turned the arrogant political class on its ear. Not poles, not money, not union thugs, not community organizers, not even the President's heroic fly-in last Sunday could prevent "we, the people" from painfully reminding them all that power in America is "granted" to the government BY the people, not the reverse.
This victory signals some very important lessons to be learned by BOTH parties. We, the people, reject one-party rule. We reject corruption and arrogance. We demand fiscal responsibility and we don't want socialism in America, EVER! The elections in November will no doubt punish ANY politician who ignores the message in this election last night. No more earmarks, no backroom deals, no government takeover of healthcare, no unionization of TSA, no Constitutional rights for terrorists, no coddling of tyrants just to make nice. Listen, or leave!
One-party rule with Republicans led to corruption and excess. Now the Dems have done the same thing. For any incumbent, they had better bone up on the Constitution, turn off the speed dial to special interest and look straight ahead at the 800 pound gorilla in the room. It's "we, the people", and we are awake and taking no prisoners this fall.
God Bless this country and its citizens.

Laura Ingram on O’Reily tonight had a metaphor of the Democratic Party on the aftermath of the Massachusetts election
She said that hyenas surround a carcass (the Democratic Party after the Massachusetts vote), biting, grabbing, ripping, snarling, tearing, in frenzy…..pulling the flesh from the bone, and in the frenzy they turn on each other, blaming and accusing, ripping each other apart. The Democratic press, the liberal pundits, and left leaning talk show host are the hyenas….are in that frenzy; blaming everyone but the messages, policies and actions they have been pushing for the last 20 years.
