Harvesting Emails?

I just came across ad #1785184 and it seems a little funny. Ads like this are run on KIJIJI to harvest email addresses and other info. any input?

Likely correct in collecting email addresses, I would communicate through RJ and RJ only if contacting him at least until you verify he is legit.
