Now does anybody have any proof that the car was damaged before it was put on the trailer. Inspection sheet, photos. If so lets see them. The only way that anybody can prove if they are a scammer or an honest person is to provide proof.

I was just agreeing with you that there are 2 sides to every story. The point I am trying to make is that we need to see proof from both sides if they got it. We stay nuetral here on the Forums UNTIL someone proves that their compliant is real or if they were trying to get over on an honest man.

As a body man myself I know it is exspensive to run a body shop. So what might seem to be an unreasonable amount may be normal for me. Is there a way you can scan that inspection sheet and post it on here??

It should be as simple as having an adjuster from the haulers Insurance Co. go give an estimate on the car.

That depends on how hard they bumped it. If they barley rubbed it and the bumper is rubber I am assuming then it would only scuff it and not dent it. Now if they bumped it and had a lot of force when they bumped it then it could dent it too. It wouldnt total the vehicle or anything. I know when someone backed into my Celica it cost $1,275 to fix the damage. The damage was only on the fender and part of the door. That was also a couple years ago.

Also if their insurance company looks at it they will only pay for the damage that was caused by bumping it against the trailer. Any other damage they wont pay for.

That is from the experience I had when my car got backed into also. I have a custom paint job on it and they wouldnt pay for a coomplete paint job so I just had to deal with the crappy spot job they did when they tried to match the color of the paint.

Yes, there are 2 sides to this and all situations! I had a body shop at the pickup and he advised me not to settle for $400. It did much more damage than that. I asked for their insurance company to come out, no reply. You decide if you want your $35000 car transported by Mitten Express.

i beleive it is the price he is saying cause around christmas was at grocery store and employ dinged door of my work truck barely noticeable i told manager just cause it was right to straighten out the employee he told me to get 2 est. long story short nickle side dent netted me $465 dollars

it is NOT a steel bumper it is a fiberglass bumper. There was NO previous to the car. The car is for sale at 35000. that should tell you about the quality of the car.
