The government has been working at breaking up marriges for a while. We used to get more back on our taxes before we got married.
I worked with a woman who's brother has a "bad back" and recieves disability. He has been with the same woman for many years but won't get married. As long as they are single, she gets a check for taking care of him. If they marry, the checks stop.
In their case I think it's just a scam but that's another story.

well i gotta say family is important and i believe the govt should make moves to promote the family way of life, too many things get screwed up and if u break it down,the raising of children into healthy responsible working adults all starts in viewing how was he or she brought up, because peoples childhoods mold their adulthood decisions

I get mugged every week on taxes cause I'm single. I paid in more than two other guys put together because they are maried with a kid.and yes we compaired check stubs not just making that up. :evil:
