I second this. I may be harsh but I am also forgiving. My favorite sayings are "prove it" and "Show me" Cuz if you say this and that and can be able to prove it and show me than you deserve the credit that comes with it. I am old school and always gives a person a second chance. If they screw up there is not a third chance. You are still young and can learn ALOT from here and from the guys here. well scorp i told yal time after time that im sorry it didnt go as plan..but its not my fault that the deal went bad..i tryed to make it up and everytime i left him a message he never returned it..so i got to talking to people and they told me i wouldnt give his stall back since he still has my pistons..but i dont have that stall now but i do have a 4200 thats only had 2 passes on it..but if he will agree to send me my pistons back then ill send him this other stall i got..but like i said im not here to screw anyone and i dont care what all of yall think or say im not here to screw anyone..but all i asked was my pistons back and if he dont want to do that or want to get back to me on it then im not going to do anything..but the man want even return my message and im tired of trying..so like i said if he wants this other stall and ill send him a picture of it..but if he dont get back to me then i cant do anything on it..so if yall try to get with him and tell him to message me then ill give him this new stall i got..but i do want my pistons back..so that way both of us can say its been took care of..thats all i ask out of anyone.. so what was the deal with the oil soaked box, if you never shipped the converter out why did you go through all that. thats not being a straight up seller as you tried to tell us you were. if you were worried about your reputation that one deal threw it rite down the stairs.

well i did send it off and when it came back soked then i didnt have the money to send it back out..but i boxed it up and got ready to ship it and i didnt have all the money to ship it out again..the only way they would have let me ship it again and not charge me another 18.00 they told me that i would have cleaned the box and ship it in the same box..but the box wasnt any good and couldnt be cleaned up to ship it out again..so i put it in another box and got ready to ship it but no money at the time..them more people i talked to saying i was doing a wrong thing shipping it twiced and me not get anything out of it..and then yall kept on at me then i just said heack with it..So thats why i didnt ship it..all i wanted was to people to respected me on here..but when i said i was going to ship it then all of yall kept on and on about how bad of a seller i am..so i said for get it..so thats why i didnt ship it out..yall wanted me to tell the truth well thats it..

Anyways, look kid I am going to be running a 93 Mustang Gt hatchback with a 460 and possible 6-71 blower. No NOS is going to touch this engine. I am still shootting for 9sec 1/4mi times. You can do it without the NOS. Plus being only 15 like you say I feel that you are too young to play with the big boys on NOS. Chit I am 31 and still scared chitless of playin with the big boys on the track. You will learn a lot from these guys. Just dont get upset when they say something you dont like.

From what I have read on this forum I would stay away from, the SBC 400. I read that they cannot handle the power and will split. So you can try a 355 or go ahead and jump up to a BBC.

Honestly I am new to racing scene as far as engines and what not but I am sure that these guys will help steer you in the right direction. I am just trying to keep my Ford a true Ford with a BBF in it so I can run in the Manufacture classes as well as the Mustang classes.

well then i will stay away for them then..because i hate to spend all that money and it mess up.my nephew has a 355 motor i built last year and we done some trading on a 406 i use to have so the 355 was my sons and i built it for him and my son robert and anthony done some trading on the red chevy pickup anthony had and then anthony had the 355 and i bought the 406 motor off his dad and then me and anthony done some trading on the 406..so i now got the 355 back that i built my son last year..So i own the 355 now and im thinking just going with it and i have a Brand New Set of 215 intake runner Dart heads im putting on it..its going to be a full solid roller motor.. guess im just going to stay with the 355 now..im not a BBC guy but my son loves them and he keeps on telling me to get a BBC but i dont want one..

im trying to build me a 18 degree 400SBC but i was told that u can take a 355 engine and out run a 18 degree..is that true??


From what I have read on this forum I would stay away from, the SBC 400. I read that they cannot handle the power and will split. So you can try a 355 or go ahead and jump up to a BBC.

Honestly I am new to racing scene as far as engines and what not but I am sure that these guys will help steer you in the right direction. I am just trying to keep my Ford a true Ford with a BBF in it so I can run in the Manufacture classes as well as the Mustang classes.


well then i will stay away for them then..because i hate to spend all that money and it mess up.my nephew has a 355 motor i built last year and we done some trading on a 406 i use to have so the 355 was my sons and i built it for him and my son robert and anthony done some trading on the red chevy pickup anthony had and then anthony had the 355 and i bought the 406 motor off his dad and then me and anthony done some trading on the 406..so i now got the 355 back that i built my son last year..So i own the 355 now and im thinking just going with it and i have a Brand New Set of 215 intake runner Dart heads im putting on it..its going to be a full solid roller motor.. guess im just going to stay with the 355 now..im not a BBC guy but my son loves them and he keeps on telling me to get a BBC but i dont want one..


I love the saying of "Go big or go home" LOL I am going to be boring that 460 out prolly to a 506. Yeah I got wheelie bars that will be in use hopfully.


Wow Dirka, you're gonna bore it out to a 506? That's 46 cu in. Let me know how that works. I think you'll hit water passages way before that. :shock:


The block I am prolly going to be getting is a SCJ 460 that has siamese cylinders so there is no water jackets around the clinders from what I can tell from the pics and from what I was told by an engine builder. Oh that block is coming out in 2010 also so it is a new blcok from Ford racing.

Nope, no parts for sale right now. If I did they would be in the classifieds. If you are looking for wheels go the classifieds and look under drag racing wheels. Mine are Weld Alumi Stars. Just to give you an idea new they cost about $425.00 each for fronts and rears like I got that are 15x15 are $515.00 each. If you can find used in the size you want you can save a lot of $$$.

my car has a 10.5 inch rear tire and i will want a 15x8 in the back and 15x3 1/2 in front..i found two 15x8s with new mt drag radials for 400 wheels,tires.im guessing thats a pretty good deal,right?

Yeah but wouldnt that be a lil too big for the engine compartment without doing any mods to it? I know a 460 will fit nicely in without making any mods. Also I am not trying to go that fast. :shock: I will be content if I make the 9sec mark. Or is that 5.05 in the 1/8th mi.??

yea that will be about 5.00-5.05 in the 1/8th if you are running 9's in the quarter but thats not always true about the 4 sec difference.it depends on your acceleration and topend

Yeah I was told that the stock 460 block wouldnt handle the power I want out of it. Cuz I have a F250 with a 460 in it that I was gonna build for the Stang and drop in a fresh new 460 in the truck.
