ENGINE SPECS- SBC WITH 363 GM HEADS 4.155 X 3.30 IN A BRACKET CAR. WANT TO TURN IT TO 7800 TO 8200, WILL STAINLESS HANDLE THE RPM'S OR DO I NEED TO GO TO TITANIUM(VERY EXPENSIVE$$$$)I AM ON A BUDGET :shock:

Manley Severe Duty Pro Flo valves. About $22 each instead of $110 each for titanium.

Make sure you run some good springs and you should be fine.

Stainless valves will work fine for that rpm with the right spring. For a bracket car, where you want hundreds of passes out of parts, the stainless valves are more durable and will last longer. Also, check into Si valves, they have some nice stuff for the money, and a lot of choices

Si is a company that sells valves. Just doa google search for their websight. Type in Si valves, and it will come up.

I would think rpm capability before valve float would be the difference. JMO

Your initial phrase, "I'm on a budget" is the answer to your question. Unless you're ready, willing, and able to build a top of the line engine, go with SS and build for durability, low maintenance, and fun !

You will loose 0 hp, as long as you have enough spring, to control the valve. Your talking $100+ per valve. Vs $15-$20. Its up to you

If you are on a budget, there is no other way than SS.
