Guys, I have a 66 Nova w/408 sbc,350 Turbo,9" Ford w 4:10 gear, and 28/9/15 slicks. Car has run 11.66@118, but only had 1.67 60' time.I like the mph but think the ET should be down in the 20's or 30's. Think I need more converter? I think it has a 3500 stall in it now. Any thoughts are greatly appreciated. Motor has been dynoed at 362hp at 5800 rpm, which I believe could be low(for a rear wheel number).

Some specs on the engine would help......shift point, launch rpm, etc too

John is right to ask for more info to zero in on what may be ailing you. To give you some info the roll around, If you want to go as fast as you can in near any combination, the torque converter needs to be as loose as the traction ability of the car can handle. A 4000 stall will net better ET's than your 3500 one will, but the MPH may diminish........ possibly. You want to have the converter in just below peak torque RPM and flash just over it in a drag car that is pursuing best ET performance. You may have 10 other problems that are not on our radar with out more info though, but this rule of thumb may give you something to look at for your next purchase.
