I have a 1981 chevy stepside 2wheel drive it has a 350 bone stock except for and edelbrock 650 carb i jetted the carb way down but i still only get about 16mpg any suggestions?

Thats good MPG. I get maybe 8-10 MPG on my 84 Chevy 4x4
