Hard to keep this short & sweet. I sent a USPS m/o to this clown on 8/20/09 in response to the agreement we made on rj add#1629257 concerning 1 set bb valve covers and 1 trans ring.
9/9/09 i e-mailed and told him i had no parts. i get a response that he's been in and out etc,etc.
9/16/09 e-mails says he sent everything out
9/21/09 i receive valve covers no trans ring.
e-mail him
9/22/09 e-mails me telling me the trans ring was not there as he told me ! Never told me that!
9/23/09 e-mail him saying if this is not working i will send his covers back and he can refund
9/23/09 Clown responds saying if i would have sent the money sooner (8/20/09) maybe i would get my stuff.Also says he will send me the money this week if my product does not show up
9/23/09 i tell him i have all usps receipts and all e-mails he has sent.That he has no business selling things on RJ
9/23/09 Now he says because a friend has died and his grandmother he just can't seem to get the product out. Also states he has sold 20K on RJ in the last 10 months. That's funny he has never made a honer payment!
Any body ever heard of this clown or most important:
Ever been scammed by him?

he is a normal on drr ... hosed a few people on some chrome valve covers that were suppose to be Biondos ... but ended up being biondo look alikes

seems to be a decent guy though .. has nice stuff

I believe Taz just sold his 2009 Racetech on here a month or so ago for about $35K. I know he sells a lot on here and other sites. Seems to have nice stuff. Don't think he tried to screw anyone on the valve covers, just no clue what he had and advertised them wrong. He did step up and take the heat.

Mike I have tried to email you several times telling you to call me. the trans ring was not in my posession it was a friends of mine that lives in nc. he was suppose to send the trans ring out a while back. i gave him your address then he called me back last week and said he received the package back in return he put the wrong address on it. now i do not have your correct address not your phone number if you could please email me or call me i would gladly get you your $30 trans ring. By no means would i try to riip anyone off on parts they have paid for in advance. i reveived your m/o i wouldnt do you wrong. If the ring was in my posession you would have had it with the covers.

Thanks Taz for posting. Always 2 sides to a story.

Now to address your questions about the time frame and emails. If the last email you got from him was on 9/23 and he is posting now on 10/7 that is roughly 2 weeks or 14 days. Notice Taz says 8 days with system issues. Makes sense to me that his emails did not go thru to you since you last heard from him.

Taz has been spending a lot of time moving is 09 Racetech and working on the 2010 Racetech, so yes he has been in and out. I also know that his car got moved in the shop so that a friend of mines car could be finished. Apparently there were some personal issues that had slowed progress. I think that was addressed as well in Taz's response to you.

If Taz was going to scam you, why the hell would he send the valve covers to you on time and as agreed? You apparently have no bitch about them as you have not complained about the quality or the price of the product. Good thing guys like Taz are here on RJ so other guys can get a decent deal on a good product.

Honor payments, well that is all opinion. I pay for a membership to this site every year. I feel that entitles me to list and sell my products. I do make honor payments if I feel that I have sold more than a fair amount of stuff and try to give back a little. Each person has their opinion on how or what they should get/give to a free site like RJ. It does not make a person bad or necessarily make them a scammer.

Sounds to me like Taz's story matches up. What I have seen with some of Taz's other dealings, he has been stand up. He was told that a product he was selling earlier in this year was one thing and it turned out not to be. He made good by it and took the blame for not knowing the product 100%. I have never meet Taz face to face but my interactions with him here, on other message boards and thru friends that know him tell me that he is a person of his word and will get you taken care of.

I'am not the least bit interested in him selling his dragster, buying a new one, or any problems in between. I'am interested in striking a deal, paying for the deal, getting my product, moving on.
When that happens it's a done deal.

I had 2 trans rings of your choice and i told you the one with the handle was a friend of mines. That handle was in NC. I gave him your mailing address as he was suppose to ship it to you himself then i threw your address away, that is why i do not have your address. When i told you the trans ring wasnt in my posession you said " no problem, send it when you get it"

I work 14 hrs a day and am gone 3 days a week racing or out of town. i hope you understand the situation and if you have any question i have told you several times instead of typing crap on the interenet to address me in such an appropriate manner via cell phone.

What part do you not get that Taz told the guy that HE DID NOT HAVE THE PART AND THAT THE TRANS RING THE GUY WANTED WAS IN NC WITH HIS BUDDY???????? If he had bought the trans ring that Taz had (remember there was 2 listed and the buyer was given a choice), no one would ever be reading this thread. The guy knew when he made the agreement that he was paying for a part that was not in Taz's possession? I guess shame on Taz for having trust in a friend.

OH WAIT... DID WE NOT READ THE PART THAT THE TRANS RING WAS RETURNED FOR A WRONG ADDRESS? I am sure Taz will show when his buddy shipped it and we all know that it may have been days or weeks before it got returned. Taz even states he was trying to reach the guy to get his address again. Shows me that he was trying to take care of the error and not saying Piss on the Rest.

Taz has been up front and honest about every part of this deal. Sorry if you guys think that shipping a package is always first priority but when you are dealing with deaths, work and deadlines, shipping a package is not always 1st in your thought process. Should he have had a back up plan, sure, but I would bet 100% that at some point or time we have all forgotten something of importance because of life events like this. I hope that some of the attitude the guy got was just Taz being frustrated with everything else going on and not needing a guy to bust his balls instead of understanding what was going on. If Taz was scamming or was a dishonest seller, then this guy would have gotten no responses, no valve covers and nothing done on the trans ring. If he was such a bad seller or scammer you would have had many other posts in this forum as I know that Taz has been selling parts on here for a while now and I know a lot of people that have bought from him that have been very happy.

Rudy... my answer based on reading other forums that Taz post on, sometimes the fingers move faster than the brain can think and he should make sure he has dates right. Taz has never been a take any crap person but has always stepped up and took blame for something wrong and corrected it.
