well boys i say im sorry. i never have known anyone who ate frog legs. until now!! do they taste like chicken?.ive had snake, bear, deer,gar, turtle, moose etc, just cant bring myself to eat frog. dont know why, just cant. ive even ate horse. i can remember when you could buy horse meat(and goat meat)in chicago back in the 60s.when we went to new orleans i eat gator. GOOD. but i felt guilty because i had a pet gator at home.

hey outlaw i was trying to find a comparison for frog and notice you
ate snake and so did i, frog taste like snake, and they are both
very good, they resemble chicken. if you like the dark meat
from turky you would like possum and armadillo, i have never had
gator and will try it but like you, i can't eat horse meat, i had too
many horses as pets and would feel bad, take care bud :wink:

Yeppers frog is a lot like snake, reminds me more of crappie tho, only sweeter. Armadillo, is possum on the half shell. I'll dive into a big ole pile of mud-bugs too, MMMMMMMMM. Never ate no gator, I'd give her a whirl tho. Buff'ler is good, but I pass on the praire goats, meat is just tooo chewy. Squirrel is my favorite tho, we hunt them with flintlock muzzleloaders, .30-.36 caliber. It's the only hunting, I do any more.

I hate catfish....a buddy of mine loves it. I used to fish a creek by my parents house a few years ago and catch a bunch of channel cat in the 4-5 lb range. I wouldn't eat them and my buddy said bring em to him!! So I started cleaning them and giving them to him...that creek ran through several farms and had junk cars in it and everything else. One fish Had a big tumor on it's head. :lol: I took him out there once and after that he didn't want to eat them anymore....not sure why.

i dont like catfish either!or chicken, both of them will eat anything and what ever they eat so do you.if people really knew what was in their food they would be alot more careful with what they eat.man its getting where i cant even go out to eat anymore. i dont know what the cook is doing to my food.ive been to fast food res. where the cashier would handle money then turn around and grab my burger and wrap it up and hand it to me. when i said wash your hands and give me a new burger or give me back my money they yell manager.i dont care i aint gonna eat it.

It's not my favorite either, just for the simple fact that they are kinda the "cleaners" of the fish world. I'll eatem with alittle dab of hot sauce, tartar sauce, hushpuppies and slaw.

I prefer crappie myself, some small bank runner bass ain't bad every now and then, but my all time favorite, a big ole~mess of bream fillets....

Hell yeah.

Well they found botulism 2 or 3 times in the plant. They finally close it late last year.
You think I would ride on a subway in Atlanta or New York? ONLY IN A BUBBLE SUITE!! I saw a discover chanel show one time that checked ($) bills for drugs and germs. Almost every bill had some trace of a dug on it and the $20 was the worst!!! Think about where all those 1 $ bills have been!!!!!!!!!!!! You touch them then pick your nose then wipe your butt, then stick your finger in your mouth! Then someone makes your hamburger and hands it to you with a smile!

I'll just stick to Mud Racing. It's got to be cleaner!!lol

I travel quite a bit and never turn the TV (in the motel) because I will not touch the remote control. Nuff said???

Red ears, highbacks, stink pots, snappers, soft shells, lager heads all of them buggers in our lake, but by far the red ear is the most prolific.
The boy caught a huge softshell a few weeks back on a trot line, at least a 30lbr.

It's not by chance I know this mess, Belzoni Ms, is also big into turtle farming. It's a huge export operation.
Seems them chinese like baby turtles and turtle eggs. :shock:
