Anyone dealt with the JIMMIT in Waterville OH? He contacted me about a carb I have for sale now on RJ. Wanted to buy it right now on Thursday and have me ship it so he could have it to race with Saturday. He wanted to know how I could get it to him and then he would send me payment after receipt. I suggested if he needed it that fast to just go to Walmart and send a MONEYGRAM to me that I could get that evening , and I would send carb next day delivery Saturday. He came back with "Nobody has any trust anymore and I would not rip you off, but I guess you thought I would."
Then he came back again with "I will just buy new". And then again with "I never pay for parts without getting them first" .
Whats this guys deal?? Anyone send him parts on this site without payment first? Is he for real, or a pragster?? Just curious.
If he needed that carb so bad, why didn't he call to make arrangements?

I've only shipped once without payment first. That was a carb that I sold to a member on the site that I trust. I trusted him and knew that his reputation was important to him. I was not disappointed and the payment arrived safely. That deal was with Mopar1968. I would trust some members but that is my choice, not theirs. Mopar didn't ask for shipping first.

The point is if thats the correct number and its a business, LLC and they can be considered as doing business in your state- then I believe you can sue them in your state- perhaps via small claims court.

I also tried to trade for this dragster. We talked and emailed for 2 months on this. he said he would trade but wanted all kinds of extras said he didn't like wheels on car or paint, so i offered cash and parts in trade, but couldn't get him to come look at car. He said he was working all the time and that he was a farmer also and had no time even on his days off. But he always had time to email.He also said he was tired of getting burn't all time. He was ready to make the trade the friday before xmas and said he would let me know. Never heard from him again. Looks like he traded with waynesworld154. I found this scammer report and would like to say i wish i would have found this before i spent so much time dealing with him just glad i didn't trade and am sorry for the guy that did!

Since u decided to post me as a bad guy lets get the whole story out there. My friend brian wanted a dragster so he called me and asked about the one jimmit had I told him didnt know anything about the car but had read a lot about the guy. so i contacted jimmit and put the two together well then it starts he cant travel because computer in truck is bad wont go more than 50 miles and dies so to make the deal brian will have to come to him and he would help with gas money which was 10 hours away the two talked on phone together and decieded to make the deal dragster was supossed to be perfect but was not had been repaired badly in front and was told had never been broken. Didnt get fuel lines or money for the trip have been told it has been mailed for almost a month now. the corvette jimmit got the week before the trade ran mid 5.550,s in the 1/8 and went to the finals so it is very hard for me to believe something wrong with the trans. The guy that owned the corvette is meticulous in the way he takes care of a car, yes he did wash the car 3 days before it left on the trip. here is the thing all I did was put 2 people together to make a deal I did not make the trip wasnt involved in it at all except the first phone calls then they spoke to each other. brian asked me to contact him about the fuel lines and money now all of sudden i am the bad guy. first he has a broke truck then he has broke computer then broken cell phone then has to go out of town for work all these excuses for fuel lines and 50 bucks. Like i said i was not there when they traded,so that is the story.
