are the cleanable oil filters such as system one and trufilter a good investment.besides being cleanable and looking for debris do they have oil flow advantages?

I run system 1 and wouldnt have it any other way. thru time it really pays off and yes they flow better. thru a simple screen instead of paper filter but to each their own. obviously the sooner you buy one the more it pays off. wish I had done it sooner

Problem is the system one flows better but doesn't filter to such a high micron.

When using a disposable filter you don't have to worry about any crap left in it. Put on a new filter and you are good to go! JMO

I had a problem believing you guys about the Fram filters until my engine machine shop guy said that a Fram caused my #2 rod bearing to spin.
How do you guys feel about the K&N oil filters?
