Joe- It looks like a really nice truck. It might be just people arent buying due to the economy. What is the KBB on it? How long have you had it for sale?

Dirka I bought it about a year ago when my then 15 year old step son saw it at a neighbor's house and said he wanted it so I helped him buy it (mostly my money) I explained to him that it would need a few things and he was real eager to SAY he would. well he never touched it and after a few months said he'd rater have something else so I fixed a few things added some new things and have decided to sell it..not really sure what the KBB is never really looked don't think it goes back to 85 might be wrong not sure its a great truck/car don't see me Caballero's around.

Honestly I havent seen any Caballero's around. I honestly didnt know GMC made them. Your step son doesnt know what he is missing driving a truck lke that. My first car was a 1970 Ranchero. I had a blast in it. Wish I still had it.

I would say the Amigo is worth about 3500 being generous...

If the Caballero is un molested and rust free I would say between 4 and 5 grand. The problem is that the eighties cars are not quite old enough to be a classic and not new enough to be sporty to alot of people. Its rareness is also what makes it a little harder sell. I have seen similar cars sell in the 2500 range but they had more miles and were not quite as clean. If it was me I would ask 4800 or maybe 5000 and go from there. In this market you would be more likely to trade for something you could use instead of selling. NADA value applies more to Barrett Jackson than RacingJunk or the front yard. I usually cut it in half.

I am not the worlds best wheeler dealer, but I sell and trade more than most people.

I hope this is helpful, I do not mean to offend, just be helpful if I can.
