hp guess on new 383 sbc

ok for those of u who dont already know. i blew my old 385 and had to start over
i have an eagle forged 383 rotating assembly with h beams and speed pro forged pistons, a comp magnum 525 int, 525ex, advertised duration is 280, and 224 at .050in lift
10.5 to 1 comp with vortec heads 1.94 int and 1.5 ex valves
air gap manifold with a holley 750
what hp do yall think i can make with this combo?

and i also have a 3000 stall converter with 3.73s and posi in a 5000lb truck
guesses for 1/4 mile?????????

400-425, somewhere in the mid 14 second qtr.

that sounds about right 400 to 425.i close to same combo in a 79 malibu,i was running a little better set of heads, 3200 lb 4.56 gear it ran 7.44 in the 1/8 on motor and 7.03 on 125 shot. street car

Bowhay the reason they gave such slow 1/4 times is probably because it is a hvy truck. That motor and converter in a average camaro or nova would be in the 12's. as long as it had about a 4.10 gear. Cam looks good for what you have .
