we pulled my buddys motor&tranny out and when we drained it this mily pink strawberry milkshake lookin fluid came out what couls that mean water in the tranny?? any suggestions would be nice

DEFINITELY sounds like WATER IN THE TRANS. Not sure how it got in there but that's probably what it is. Happened to me once in a demolition derby car...Never use a one gallon jug that cheap tranny fluid cam in to carry water to the track.That's all I'm saying about that incident.

Are you using the trans cooler that is built into the radiator? Have seen them go bad and leak coolant into the transmission lines. Just a thought.

This is the only reason short of someone pouring water in the trans. It doesn't happen often, but I have seen it a few times. Time for a new radiator or an external cooler. Oh and another thing, PLAN to rebuild the trans too. Water messes up the clutch plates. It will not last long if it isn't gone already.

Probably. The friction material in an automatic trans is bonded with a water based glue. After they get water on them it's just a matter of time.
