Ok what do you guys think if I change my current stock 350 oem block with this combo,383,13-1,.558 int,.550 ex,260,[email protected] comp flat tappet,stock 215 Dart Iron Eagle Platinums,Manley 6 inch rods,Super Victor port matched,750 APD Alky carb, in my 3100 lb 68 camaro,to a Dart SHP .030 block with 14-1 Mahle pistons,block from CNC Carl,and use the same heads,cam,crank,intake,will I see any power increase?

A block isnt going to just gain you hp ? actually I think this block is more weight then your stock so you'd slow down there, the one point of comp I have found is worth slim to none on mine.

You would be better off spending the money on some aluminum heads and a roller cam

The blocks only way 168 pounds and better ring seal with the SHP block and clinder placement is better on the dart as well and the lifter bores that are right on the money compared to most GM blocks and if using a roller cam that is criticle.

Joe Sherman posted on speeedtalk that going from a 400 block to World block was a 30 horse gain over a stock block do a search on the site or PM him.

Yes Carl, Big Joe has stated that on several occasions that on the dyno a block change like that can & will make more power
