This would not have been an issue if General Douglas MacArthur was allowed to finish the Korean war. He wanted to eliminate the North Korean communist.

(Democratic) president Truman was too afraid of the Chinese and Russians.

MacArthur told him, "if we don't do it now, we will fight them again in 50 years"

Personally, I would make South Korea an island!!!
