NO!!! If you enjoy it that's all that counts.

Ask US7RACE if you can get a truck to hook and run.... :o :o

I had a 91 long bed regular cab and I had a 94 short bed ext cab...both were Silverados...the long bed was a 305 truck the ext cab came with a 350.....both had 4l60e trans...the long bed single cab was a much beefier truck. It had a huge aluminum driveshaft and heay duty suspension/brakes.

700r4 has a detent cable that runs to the throttle body. 4l60 is all electronic. I think they started to put 4l60's in 93.

There's nothing wrong with running a supercab pickup, everybody has his own crosses to bear. Just be content that on your budget its probably gonna be SLOW.....
In the dragracing world.

'FAST' is relevant to one's personal perception of the physical and mental sensations of rapid forward movement.

Thats what your friends were trying to tell you even on your budget with a light ride you can run pretty quick times. Don't you have a pretty clean Mopar?

James said he thought you or one of your friends had a pretty clean Mopar, but didn't have a title. If you do find a light car it would keep you from racing the vechile you drive everyday. I remember those days of driving my everyday cruiser to the track, pulling slicks out of the trunk and racing. The best decision I ever made was to buy a old mustang for 150.00 and started racing it. Leaving my everyday cruiser as just that. I was lucky everytime I broke my car my dad would loan me one of his cars. One was a 57 Ford stationwagon with a solid lift 390, 3-speed on the column, and the other was a 61 Falcon with a solid lift 289. In 1982 they weren't to Cool.
