THE HOLLEY BLACK PUMP PUSHES OUT ABOUT 14 PSI, PROBLY NOT GOING TO WORK DEPENDING ON EFI SETUP, MY 57 IS LS1 FUEL INJECTED AND CALLS FOR AROUND 60 PSI, I WENT WITH A EXTERNAL WALBRO FUEL PUMP, WITH PUSH LOK HOSE HIGH PRESSURE HOSE. YOU CAN GET THE WALBRO PUMPS FOR AROUND 100.00 NEW

so you don't think that pump will work on my 92 chevy efi with the 350

If you are using the stock efi stuff why can't you use the stock pump? I never messed with efi that wasn't stock but I do know that Holley pump won't work.

Nope will not work, even a throttle body injection requires 15/16lbs of pressures to work properly, EFI's require 40 plus lbs of push and return lines. EFI nozzles are usually 32 to 40 lb nozzles, that why most people put in the tank fuel pumps on conversions. I have one for my 1979 El Camino but haven't installed it yet, it requires a tank made for a in the tank pump, a 1992 yellow plug computer, and a closed loop painless wiring harness, that's one of the reasdons i haven't installed it yet. it's definately not a couple hrs installation.

THROW A FUEL PRESSURE TESTER ON IT AND SEE WHAT YOU HAVE, YOUR PROBLEMS MIGHT NOT BE THE FUEL PUMP...

Get a fuel preasure gauge and see how much psi the pump is putting out...that will help eliminate the fuel pump if it isn't it.

Back a couple of posts, usually when the fuel pump on those trucks goes bad, they just quit, they don't slowly die and if you ever need to change it, it's easier to pull the bed off than to drop the tank.

Probably just need a good tune up, ei cap, rotor, wires and plugs. Have you tried to run it with out the air filter and see what happens? maybe the cam going flat, I think that was a problem on those engines also.

ok so if i take off the air filter what would a be looking for

Just to see if it runs any different. It's cheap to do and if it improves then theres the problem. Mostly unlikely though.

ANY SERVICE ENGINE LIGHT?? IF SO AUTO ZONE OR ADVANCED AUTO WILL CHECK IT IF ITS THROWING A CODE... I HAVE SEEN A FEW CATALYTIC CONVERTERS PLUGGED BEFORE... PULL THE PLUGS AND SEE WHAT THEY LOOK LIKE..

I just had to put a pump in my Dually with half a tank of gas in it...in a driveway...by myself. NO FUN. I did it from below
