Planning a 383. Found a std 350 block, casting #3970010. 010 and 020 casting numbers are also on the block. Supposedly it's a "high nickel block". At this point, max hp for my engine would be 400-500. Is this indeed a high nickel block, and would it be good for my project? Thanks for your opinion.

Sonic test and mag and if its got the 2482 center caps GM rates those blocks at 450 horse.
