blower hood clearance???

does anyone know if a 142 ci weiand blower will have enough clearance with a stock 83 chevy truck hood

hey B my buddy had a 69 nova with a 4inch cowl and his fit. he just couldnt run a breather

HI there. I had one on my 69 camaro and if I recall it wouldn,t fit.Thats why I had to chop yhe hood. I think I needed a 4" cowl to make it work .This was all with stock mount locations and stock hood. Hope this helps. Thanks
