My father in law built it. Its a Toyota SR5 truck, the bed is all aluminum. Its backhalved with a chrysler 8 3/4 rear. It has a glide in it. I think I am going to put the little motor in it for Indy should run 10.70's I think. I was going to put the big motor in it, but I dont know if the truck would handle it...

A heads up Josh from shows past. Remember to make it through and into the spotlight they usually have a certain speed bracket like 9.8's to low 10'2. If you can find out ahead of time what range of times they are hunting set the truck up to run that , no sandbagging.
Give us folks up here a heads up when these will be on TV.
Anyone on here run their rides in that other show Pass Time. OK here is my beef with that one.
The last few shows I have seen dudes coming up with 350 engines and claiming they are 400 hp cars. That's fine but when they get down the track in the 15's I am thinking they are over rating their rides. Another one recently hit the line stating his was near 500 hp and ran a 14.8.
Holy cow I can do that easily with my Z28 and it's nowhere near that horse power.

If you don't think you are going to be in the field...start a fight or do something illegal and dramatic...that way they will put you on the tv show. :D

I also tried at 7:07 pm and it was sold out :(
we are all gonna load up in the RV and head over just to watch, should be cool. We missed St Louis last year cause we were out of town. I looked at the campsite website and they dont show that they are gonna be open that weekend so I hope we can find a place to setup.

I like that Tod start a fight...lol... I might take my dad he has "little man syndrome" You know the short guy with a chip on his shoulder...haha.
The biggest thing I think is to go just to have fun. I would love to be on TV and racin for the big money, but it should be fun i think.
I have some work ahead to get the truck put back together, it is in a million pieces and my parts list is pretty serious. Oh well I have 3 months to get it together.
I'll see you fellas there, hopefully we get on tv one way or another...
