Changing from a alcohol carburetor to a flying toilet.
Both feed alcohol to the motor. Would I see any gain in et.
Are there any known advanages over the carburetor. other than spending 500 + $.
Thank you for your opion and any personal experience with the change.

Much,Much more responsive which often results in better 60 ft times.
So yes if its set up right you should pick up wih the injection over carb.
I have owned Both...a mechanical Pump is the best way to go on both although an electic pump can be used on the carb. ( done that too)
My personal turns off on the injection is you either have to run a front mounted fuel cell ( for many space is an issue) or you have to transport from rear tank by an electric pump into a mini surge tank ,the mechanical pump pulls from the surge tank..
the adustment is tempermental and works on a by pass..so ya gotta get familier...
the carb is gonna be much more consistant with less tunning on average.
this is just my take on the issue.

I've made switch from rupert alky carb to toilet and gained 2 tenths, on a 5.30 dragster to 5.10. I've also made the switch back with same setup to a apd alky carb and lost only a tenth.
There is a lot of upside to both, injection is easy, fast and predictable. The downside is starting up without a primer system.
Carb upside easy start up, warms up faster with a leanout. Down side is they still do move around in big air jumps unlike injection.

Toilets, Terminators, Hat's and stacks all will generally out perform carbs, but do require a learning curve which everyone has stated. Once you get past that curve you'll probably never go back to a carb unless you're running gas. I've run all of them and only own one carberator and it's an 850 holly and it's going on a 406" street motor. but i do have a toilet, a set o stacks, and a hat that i use on alcohol ( sm/blk stuff). It's a lot easier to change a bypass pill than tuning a carb at the track to fit the conditions.
