I bought Motor from him and he is some kind of Man! He tries saying he never sold it to me. We meant in Guthrie, OK 12/13/08 and this was wrapped up tight (not out of the ordinary it was supposed to rain). We put the motor into my truck and I paid him. Got the motor home and was missing crank trigger, water pump and MSD plug wires.

Took it to my engine builder and he said the heads had been swapped from All Pro heads to Brodix ASCS heads. Block has cracks in it, rust in one cylinder, not all head nuts were tight. I also called Boyd's racing engines and they said it was not the first time they heard this story. This guy has been doing this for a while.

He also uses his company work phone (Basic Energy Services) to cover his ass when he screws somebody over. So watch what you buy from him! He is a not an honest man. All I want is to settle this without use of a lawyer. But it looks like that is the route I have to go. He will surely post that he doesn't know me and never sold me the motor... But my imagination is not even big enough to dream this one up!

Brandon recently purchased an intercooler from me along with a blowoff valve. with these two items alone he was very very prompt let alone honest. i dont see how people can "BS" someone about a motor and when they get caught because the new owner took the piece to a professional engine builder and was told the truth. i can only say that Brandon is is a fair, straight forward, honest person who is a pleasure to do business with. i to have been dicked over with a motor and am still going through legal matters to justify my issue. come on people! how would you all feel if it was you? brandon go get em man. good luck and dont give up on this. :evil:

How did you know the motor was on a pallet? Most reasonable people selling this would have put it on a motor stand!

Is your motor still for sale? I know a couple people in the Midwest who'd be willing to come take a look. Email me and I'll see if I can set up a time- Since you didnt sell it to Blown1995z28, youd probably still have it.

And if its sold, then share the name of the buyer who could confirm that you didnt sell it to Blown.

That would make it pretty simple, and clarify things.

BTW, could you explain why you need three names and list under several of them?

If he called you during the time period that would help. Pull your cell records and landline AND

Notify his company that he is usung a Company Business Line for Personal Business (if you have proof). Many reputable Company's will discipline for that up to and including termination. (trust me on that).

Carl just got off the phone with me saying he would refund my $4500.(which I have reciepts for) that I paid for the"all pro 406" via UPS over night delivery.I was smart enough to get delivery confirmation when I mailed them via U.S. Postal Service and he has cashed at least one,so Carl if your following this,I BETTER RECIEVE MY MONEY,because when you cashed the money order with the intent yet to defraud someone else you commited MAIL FRAUD! Dont know about that,but Alabama law enforcement is going to swear out a felony theft by deception warrant for his arrest if my money is'nt returned.I took off work,called Alabama law enforcement,Oklahoma law enforcement,talked to his boss to try and convince him to do the right thing.Its all in his court now,do the right thing or I will persue civil and criminal charges at the state and federal level!! I saw the engine when it was unloaded out of BLOWN1995Z28 truck. It was all wrapped up and stapled to the wood pallet with a new tarp. A few days went by and talking to BLOWN1995Z28 I started to look in to this purchase. After taking the valve covers off, I saw that it had ASCS Brodix heads not the ALL PRO. I also saw it was missing 3 head nuts per side and that it had 2 poly lock nuts per head with all other nuts for the stud girdle. This is when all the ?'s were getting started. I know BLOWN1995Z28 and know that he is just getting back in to racing and does not know everything there is on the engines( That is why it is at my shop and why I am building him a car). I build all my own engines and cars for myself and others( mine is a OUTLAW 10.5) and I know that what I saw was not anything worth what he paid for. I am a HONEST RACER that is trying to help some one out.

Well Carl called and gave me a confirmation # for what is supposed to be a refund of my $4500.I have yet to recieve it so I wont know if its an empty package until it gets here.
The point is this guy had me send him the money after he had either sold the engine or dismantled it and sold it.The Postal inspector said that's considered Mail Fraud and because it was done on the internet, to multiple people at the same time it's Internet Fraud as well.

yes i have had a few bad dealings with unhappy customers and they did buy a few things we disagreed on,but ddude geta life i never sold you a motor i have never been in guthrie,oklahoma as far as i know.and if anyone beleives you paid that kind of money and took possession of a motor without oncovering it to look at it first when it was delivered to you would have to be as crazy as you.i told you on the phone i never sold you a motor and if you thought i did please just send me a copy of receipt fpr payment,money order copy,cancelled check,email where you ever talked to me about motor,or i said i sold you a motor,but you cant because i never sold you anything.so tell me what i was driving,make ,model,license plate number,description of me anything because you cant because i never sold you anything.what happened is you saw i had some negative feedback on here and saw i had a motor for sale and thought you get some money from me by saying i sold you something that i never sold you in first place,now i know why all those times you called me asking me about motors and stuff i had for sale so you could try to say you bought something from me you didnt.if you can furnish just one piece of eveidence that i sold you anything like email,receipt,cancelled checks,money order receipt to me any proof i ever sold you something then i will give you money back for full amount it shows you paid and shows or tells what exactly it is you bought.but no attorney would ever take such a dumb case saying i sold you something when you have no proof you bought anything from me,and if you did buy a motor it wasnt from me.and next why if you was so screwed and wasnt even right brand of heads and you did by it in december early like you told me in email you sent why did it take 1 1/2 months to realize you got wrong parts on motor(i think you could tell that as soon as you uncovered it not 1 1/2 moths later.this sight is a joke it will let people post bad info when someone like this dude has absolute no proof whatsoever that i ever sold him one thing ever.and if you really did buy something as high as a race motor and was dumb enough not to get a receipt or even look at what you was buying when you picked it up atll you deserve what you got,hell you could of bought a pallet of bricks for all you know if you really want us to beleive you that dumb to not uncover and look at something you paid 1000's of dollars for,if anyone on here beleives that story they are truly as dumb as you,like i said i have a few bad dealing with customers i have dealt with,but ihave sold a truck,turbo setup, and many parts lately who are totally satisfied and have no complaints whatsoever,so get a life dude and quit telling stories that are not true,and at least the couple of people that was not happy had proof they bought something unlike you so go away and bug someone else !!!!

I bought Motor from him and he is some kind of Man! He tries saying he never sold it to me. We meant in Guthrie, OK 12/13/08 and this was wrapped up tight (not out of the ordinary it was supposed to rain). We put the motor into my truck and I paid him. Got the motor home and was missing crank trigger, water pump and MSD plug wires.

Took it to my engine builder and he said the heads had been swapped from All Pro heads to Brodix ASCS heads. Block has cracks in it, rust in one cylinder, not all head nuts were tight. I also called Boyd's racing engines and they said it was not the first time they heard this story. This guy has been doing this for a while.

He also uses his company work phone (Basic Energy Services) to cover his ass when he screws somebody over. So watch what you buy from him! He is a not an honest man. All I want is to settle this without use of a lawyer. But it looks like that is the route I have to go. He will surely post that he doesn't know me and never sold me the motor... But my imagination is not even big enough to dream this one up!

Look at the questions and answers in this add. carl70camaro asks to trade the motor, and this just so happens to be the motor I got. So this puts the motor in CRAZY CARL'S possesion. Of course he exagerated the motor a little bit. These heads won't touch flowing 300!

When I met carl it was a bad day, Sprinkling. He had the motor sealed up nicely with bolt on covers. Seemed a trust worthy guy. I liked Him? Tried calling a cpl. times just to ask questions about the motor on the way home. Didn't return messages? I was just stupid I guess for not looking at the time. Got home unloaded the motor and had back Surgery two days later. Been layed up until just a few days ago. Pulled off the intake and low & behold it wasn't as described. Didn't go any further. It's still on His pallet. Going to figure out what to do next motor wise. I'll never do that again. Usaully build My own! But it was a Great Deal?

Tried to sell it, To pay medical bills or trade it for another motor that might have sold. I relied on your discription. Glad I didn't sell it. Then I would have been in the same situation that you are. I even ended up selling the car it was going in. Is there a problem with that? The point is that when I did get into it, it wasn't what is was suppose to be. And again, thankfully it didn't sell before finding out it wasn't what it really was. Its worth it, download all the posts, contact all the posters, and fly to Texas or OK, wherever he is now (using a cheap airfare through Expedia) and sue him.

Might be kinda fun, and you could post daily on the Forum to keep us up to date.

In the statement above you say the price he was selling this for is more than what you sold it for. In the statement below, also by you, you say it is the same price. Which is it?

I was trying to sell it as it was descibed to me. I thought that is what it was until it was recently looked inside of it. I TRUSTED WHAT CARL SAID!!! It sat since I bought it. because I was physically unable to take it apart. I'm glad that it didn't sell because I was lied to about what was in it from the beginning!! GET IT!!!! Then I would have been as Big of a ASSHOLE as CARL! Luckily I wasn't able to be put in that position by selling it to someone else.

WOW!!! It must have been a good Christmas for the Reed Family! I wish you luck and also would suggest you call your local police department and the Ardmore police department. Make a public record and then contact your local internet fraud attorney in the DA's office. They will be able to get paperwork started, he tries to hide behind all the stuff you didn't do! But the truth is he defrauded you and there are two guys attached to this post who would be very willing to stand behind your story.

My cousin is the DA for Sedgwick County here in Kansas and he said I could sue for the value of the motor! He defrauded you of a $10000.00 or more motor so you can sue for the total value. Not just what you lost on the motor. Also add mileage, wasted time and months of stress. Also he will have to travel to your local court and that is always a hassle.

I at least got my $ back and can move on. But anything he says won't hold up in court. All you have to do is show character and print this post out he shows all different kinds of that!
