I was rummaging through a bunch of old pictures (we got a new scanner, damn, we are bigtime now) and ran across this picture, I had long forgotten this car. I sold it to pay the hospital bill for when Wesley was born, one of them things we do for our kids, I guess :?

Being a Camaro nut I cringe at the thought of you having to get rid of your car but our kids are more important. It just shows you have your priorities in line. I would get rid of my car before my kids, now the wife on the other hand-------

Nah, yall have it all wrong. They are lined up that way to race and the driver of the Chevy is going to flag the start then run and get in his car to take off that way it is a close race at the finish line. lol

That would certainly explain why it is in the front!! I am ashamed to admit it, but it has been so long ago, I don't remember what he had in it.

My brother bought a used '69 Z28 in '70. 302/4spd car that he had and raced for YEARS. Made a LOT of money street racin' and held 3 IHRA SS records for several years. Finally sold it to a guy that did a 100 point resto on it.

Maybe there is a pushbar on the Camaro! Now, who's going to say the Mopar is towing the Chevy? Oh well, it's all good. Both great cars. Glad there's no imports in the pic.

Hey Rudy, I love that car... nice and tidy.. in black. All jokes aside, those are some great pic's. Mopar: my buddy has a 65' Plymouth w/ a built 440 that would probably beat my car... plus it looks cool. He has a hell of a time getting original parts though. Anyways, I am a Chevy-guy at heart, but love any good muscle car.

1961 Mercury Meteor 600 2dr sdn. 18,000 total produced, this car is one of 23 left alive in the USA. I had this car for 22 years and not a single other person ever drove it.
I pulled the old 6cyl/3spd and dropped in a 460/C6 combo, upgraded brakes, suspension components, added F/R sway bars. FUN car !!
I sold(read GAVE away) 2 years ago cuz I had 2 other priority projects(real race cars)and a limited amount of time,money,space.

Which brings us to the question, if you have a 300lb rock in the boat :?: :?: and if you throw it overboard :?: :?: will the lake level rise or will it fall :?: :?:

The water won't rise or fall because the rock displaces the same amount of water, whether it's in the boat, or in the water. :)

Not this time, the boat displaces more water than the rock, so in fact the lake level will fall, due to the boat rising and the size difference between the boat and the rock.
