Lifters?

I am replacing my current roller cam (650 lift, 250-260 dur) with a 714
lift, 260-270 dur roller. I got a upgrade kit from Shafiroff (springs, reta-
iners, etc) and am wondering if I need to replace lifters. The current ones
have about 5,000 miles on them.

If it were me i would that way you know everything is new and ready to go.

I would always put new lifters with new cam!!

If a roller lifter fails you could lose the whole engine...block and all.

I would get new ones while it's apart.You can sell the old ones on EBAY and get more than you would think for them.
