Anybody have a chassis stretcher I can borrow.
It seems my altered must have shrunk some over the winter. It's a little tighter than when I put it in the trailer last fall. Maybe it's just because it was so cold and the metal shrunk, yeah that's it. It'll fit when it warms up.
If not they'll have to grease me up to get in and out. It'll be the first time safety ever had to cut somebody out of a car that wasn't wrecked.
Good thing I'm already trying to lose weight. Down 5 lbs since the 1st. I'd like to drop at least another 20-25.

Get all them winter layers of clothing off and you MIGHT fit ! My Sorel's sure don't fit my pedal layout but my feet are warm !

We all develope that winter spread, i go thru it every year, my car's doesn't have swing arm's so i must either crawl or roll over the bar, and believe me it isn't easy between steering wheel and seat.

You know something to be honest, for some reason they scare the hell out of me, always been afraid the wheel would come off in my hand so never trusted enough to install one :!: :!: To me bolts are better than pin's :!: :!:

I have the same problem. I havent sat in my car since August and I set in there the other night. It is bad with a door car but with a dragster or altered it is way worse.
I even briefly considered selling my car, but I ordered some exercise equipment instead... 6'4" and 298 isnt the ideal place to be!
Oh well by the time I get to work on fixing up my new to me trailer to haul both cars and get both cars together I should hopefully be down at least 25 pounds...
On the bright side, its the time that refunds are getting close. That means if you have something you want to sell or buy it should happen pretty quick!!!
Hopefully we can all burn off the winter weight and kick some ass this year!!!

Man this post is not even funny :( , i've got an almost new SFI-20 2 piece Deist fire suit, i bought it when i weighed 170 lbs, and it was measured for that weight and 5'11". Well older and heavier i got up to 220lbs. What a joke when i tried to put it on since i may need it again pretty soon, I'm down to 185 since summer last yr. Trouble is i can't sell it and can't afford a new one. Actually i only need a SFI-15, but i'm killing myself to get into this -20, Hehe :) good part is i'm saving on groceries.

My weight had balloned up to 289lbs which sent me to the lean cuisine section at the freezer, since then I've lost 10lbs - my goal is 20 but I'll gladly take more.
Maybe if I just quit drinking liquid bread I could get back into my 38's again, on second thought nahhh my 40's fit fine.

I joined a gym january the 2nd, been working out 4 times a week, watching what I eat and allready lost 13 lbs feels great " I WILL FIT IN THAT FIRE SUIT IN THE SPRING " LOL , and when MY boys told me I look like the michellan man inside my car. I had to do something, good luck, alot easier going on, then coming off. (27 lbs to go.)
Man, how the pounds have added up... :)
Before I got married 4 years ago, I was a steady 201lbs. for the past 20 years, not bad for being 6'3". 8)
But ever since our wedding, the pounds have been just rolling on! I'm now at 238lbs.!!
What can I say, I married a great cook! :D
I think I'm going to need to try dieting.
Hmmmmm, I wonder if Sushi is considered dietary food?

Pretty much the same problem here. I was getting in good shape right before my accident. I can't go and do things like I could before. I've tried walking more but the weather doesn't always co-operate. I've got good days and bad. On a bad day the last thing I want to do is go for a walk. Doesn't help that my wife is a good cook.

I use to say the same thing slowmotion!
Use to call it bait.
But my wife introduced me to one of the best sushi chefs in NY and ever since, I've been hooked! LITERALY!

''SLOWMOTION'' You ever find a chassis stretcher yet :?:

Haven't found one yet. :D
We were talking in my dad's shop the other day joking about it. You know somebody has tried to widen their chassis. They probably used a bottle jack and 4x4 or something. I wouldn't want to buy that car.
My battle of the bulge isn't going so good right now. I lose a few then gain a couple back.

YEEEEHAAAAAa !!!!!! I'll bet THAT was a ride !!
After I watched a fellow competitor make an off road excursion at one of our hill climbs, because she did not double check her S wheel attachment, I make SURE mine is secure before I even fire that mother up.
