The volcano in Hawaii produces more greenhouse gasses in 1 day, than mankind has contributed to global warming since the begining of mankind!!

Currently there are 3 volcanos on this planet that are erupting and pumping these kind of numbers of greenhouse gasses into our atmosphere everyday, yet Al Gore wants every person on the planet to change their personal way of life just so that mankind will stop contributing our 0.97% to global warming!

Yet Al Gore still drives around in his Ford Expedition and flys in his private jet promoting all this global warming B.S.

These are scientific facts that Al Gore doesn't want you to know about, because Al Gore is making millions of dollars off us taxpayers by supporting all this global warming B.S. and doesn't want to lose one red penny of that money, that is making him a very wealthy man!

And who started all this global warming B.S. anyhow?

All I know is, that NASA has satellites circling the globe that monitor the earths temperature, and the results of those satellite observations shows that the earth has actually cooled by .0003°C over the past 30 years, since they began monitoring global temperatures!

I have a pine tree farm with 22,000 trees minimum over 300 acres. I am a land developer and grow these landscape trees for my own development. So with the junk science that Al Gore uses I must be good for......lets say A lifetime of burning Nitromethane, Gasoline, coal, and probably blow up two or three refinerys with credit like that. But instead of doing something crazy like that I will fight the DEQ on the interperetitation of wet land laws and be charged extra for using the best fuel God provided for man to use and have to watch dildos like Al Gore do as he pleases and create language that the press will expound on that is based on political retorec.

This stimulus package is more than double the national debt when BHO took office just a month ago! The national debt went from $400 million to $1.7 TRILLION in less than 30 days!

I guess this is his idea of change?

And BHO is promising even more money to help only those who make $20,000/year and have a mortgage on a home for $400,000 that is heading for foreclosure, that they should have never been given a mortgage for in the first place! Right now the price tag on this catastophy is $75 MILLION, and he's promising even more!

Just how the hell does he plan on paying for all this? By raising the taxes on those of us who pay our mortgages and bills on time!

I argue very well. Ask any of my remaining friends. I can win an argument on any topic, against any opponent. People know this and steer clear of me at parties. Often, as a sign of their great respect, they don't even invite me. You too can win arguments. Simply follow these rules:

Drink liquor.
Suppose you are at a party and some hotshot intellectual is expounding on the economy of Peru, a subject you know nothing about. If you're drinking some health-fanatic drink like grapefruit juice, you'll hang back, afraid to display your ignorance, while the hotshot enthralls your date. But if you drink several large martinis, you'll discover you have STRONG VIEWS about the Peruvian economy. You'll be a WEALTH of information. You'll argue forcefully, offering searing insights and possibly upsetting furniture. People will be impressed. Some may leave the room.

Make things up.
Suppose, in the Peruvian economy argument, you are trying to prove that Peruvians are underpaid, a position you base solely on the fact that YOU are underpaid, and you'll be damned if you're going to let a bunch of Peruvians be better off. DON'T say: "I think Peruvians are underpaid." Say instead: "The average Peruvian's salary in 1981 dollars adjusted for the revised tax base is $1,452.81 per annum, which is $836.07 before the mean gross poverty level."

NOTE: Always make up exact figures.
If an opponent asks you where you got your information, make THAT up too. Say: "This information comes from Dr. Hovel T. Moon's study for the Buford Commission published on May 9, 1982. Use meaningless but weighty-sounding words and phrases.

Use snappy and irrelevant comebacks.
You need an arsenal of all-purpose irrelevant phrases to fire back at your opponents when they make valid points. The best are:

You're begging the question.
You're being defensive.
Don't compare apples to oranges.
What are your parameters?

This last one is especially valuable. Nobody (other than engineers and policy wonks) has the vaguest idea what "parameters" means.

Don't forget the classic: YOU'RE SO LINEAR.

Here's how to use your comebacks:

You say: As Abraham Lincoln said in 1873...
Your opponent says: Lincoln died in 1865.
You say: You're begging the question.
You say: Liberians, like most Asians...
Your opponent says: Liberia is in Africa.
You say: You're being defensive.
You say: Since the discovery of the incandescent light bulb...

You say: Well DUH!

Compare your opponent to Adolf Hitler.
This is your heavy artillery, for when your opponent is obviously right and you are spectacularly wrong. Bring Hitler up subtly. Say, "That sounds suspiciously like something Adolf Hitler might say," or "You certainly do remind me of Adolf Hitler."

Well my friend i'm one of the persons that you called these names on the other thread that was locked down. What i'm thinking is that you have lots of skeltons in your closest and that why you are so addimate on the teaching of the bible, now i forgive you for calling me all those names because you donot know me as a person and i think that i have done more to spred gods word than you will ever do in your life. I think the bible was not even started until 2000 yrs ago and it has been rewritten numerous times, with lots of errors. Carbon tests have shown life/ cilivation dates back to 6,000/8,000 yrs. Now maybe god stepped in and changed everything 2,000 yrs. ago. atleast that's what the bible says. But then dates and days are not numbered when a peson lives for 900 yrs.as in the old testament. It don't happen period, so that in itself doesn't make sence. Evoloution i do think is very possible and i do think it should be taugh in schools. I do however disagree that the lords prayer is forbidden in schools or before a sports event. With that said Robsbird i still think you are a good person and have your convictions, they're are just overboard in todays life style and will make more enemies than friends and run people away from church than bring them in.

:lol: :lol: Im not trying to be difficult, or religeous as you guys like to go on with. the bible has been translated from one language to another language or even dialects of language. there are commentary bibles that parallel with the there interpretation. But those are for study purpose. there are over 23,000 transcripts of the originals to prove the accuracy of the bible. theres no doubt about the accuracy. the dead sea schrolls are also excellent proof of the accuracy of the bible. the difference is, I trust it, I believe it from the first statement (In the beginning to the last word AMEN and I believe even the maps) and im glad you helped your church. (no charge I hope) and as for teaching I think you said you did that, excellent. I guess my most exciting time of teaching was when I taught over 300 pastors in a confrence in Peru. Me a teacher, nope i'm not, i'm a machinest and gearhead for over 50 yrs. and the only thing i've taught is CNC progamming and the operations of CNC machining. And yes the Cross Ministries was but built off company time and for free and many saturdays and evening hours. The idea was Dr David Ball's, and the bus was previously owned by Whalen Jennings and largely donated (cheap) by his PR firm. The people that travel with the Cross Ministries, take time out of their life and go all over the US, they have scheduled events at different churches when they are asked to come. No one gets paid. The donations help pay the travel expenses and they do file an income tax, because it's not considered a church. If it comes to your area, please take the time to go i think you will be impressed with the dedication of these people that donate their time. I want be in the group, but i support each and everyone of them. Some are retired, some use their vacation time, others just take off work because it's that important to them.

They look for answers in a shallow box... they will never find them there. I find great comfort in not having to know "why" for everything... I am just one human being. God is far smarter than me & I could never grasp his complexity in a life time.

I will leave you with something I learned not so long ago. Our bodies have billions of cells that keep us alive & have many jobs... i one thing is out of place, we start to have problems. In the last ten years, we started finding more to cells. In side of one cell that has other cells, they studied a bacteria cell. Inside that bacteria cell it has incredible amounts of working parts...& motors... yes, motors w/ electric charges. One motor had 40 working parts with a stator & a rotor that spun around firing an electric charge. If ONE part is out of place, no electric charge. How abosultely incredible is that??? That said, I do not buy us comming from worms, apes, bugs, goo or other BS that professors tell while they look inside thier little boxes that keep giving them worldly answers.... like evolution. What you said on cells is just the tip of the iceberg. If you break it down a little farther you get atoms, and I think its there where we'll be able to cure and heal almost anything. The Bible says that with the faith of a mustard seed you can move mountains. Right now we know that atoms were particles of elements, substances that could not be broken down further. Being able to change protons and nuetrons in an atom will change its original structure. Its been proven that different music and tone of voice changes how the nuetrons and protons act inside the nucleus. To me I can see where prayer and a positive tongue(speech) could change everything if it works in a single atom. Just a little snip on how science and the bible can work together. What if Adam was atom.

I recently replaced all the drain pipe from the kitchen sink to the main sewer line. Going thru the wall, down under the house, digging a ditch, then connecting to the main sewer line. 2 days of pure hell. Crawling on my belly for most of the time. When I was done I was glowing like a proud father. The next day my wife calls me at work and tells me there's a water puddle under the sink, continuing to tell me that we should have paid the bid to a plumber of $3500.00, basically all labor, that I had just finished in 2 days. Pretty good money not spent to me. I get home to examine what I did wrong, and I find that my wife has stacked pots under the sink to the point that its putting pressure on the water lines to the sink, causing them to leak. I then take her to show her what the problem was, gloating that it wasn't my fault. Her response was if we had paid a plumber instead of me trying to save alittle money, he would have seen we needed a new water line.......
I replaced the 4.00 dollar line and I guess we're ok until the next thing that needs to be fixed. Just one thanks Big Daddy would work for me. Sometimes you can't win for losing.....

I think sometimes we have to hit bottom to see the light. We all seem to have our own story of how we saw that light and responded to it. thanks guys for your support.at this time in my life i really needed to hear it.i dont know why i posted it, but i couldnt listen (READ) robsbird anymore.he is so arrogant it was really starting to piss me off and i had to have my say. had i run into him just a little sooner i would not have changed my veiws on god.i always wanted to believe but what i called common sence always went the other way.i needed something to believe in, to hold on to and god was there as he always has beenbut a few weeks earlier, had i read robsbird i would have just said hes one of the reasons this god stuff isnt real.hes going to help alot of people go the wrong direction, all the while thinking hes leading them to the lord.i only told my story so the people that were on the fence would see thatthis just may be the proof they need to see there is a god.and the way to him is NOT to be like robsbird. his way of acting reminds me of the extremist in the land of the sand.gods way may be harsh sometimes but i did need to be woke up and boy what a waking up i got!!lol. you boys are the reason i starting thinking about god again. i wanted some peace in my heart like some of you seemed to have.and im finding it slowly but atleast im finding it.so thanks again guys, i really do appreciate how you all have helped me. and hotrod1024, thanks for the phone calls. i really do look forward to talking to you every weekend.kinda strange we became friends and have never even met. ken

nothing but love ken, now i don't want to be like rob but i do need
to pass this info, there was a man who studied all religions and
could answer almost any question about each belief, at he end
of the show the host asked him if there was a "heaven and hell"
his answer was quick, "we are in hell, this is hell" i know that sounds
harsh and my kids thought i was wacked, but then they noticed
all the killings, fathers killing sons, sons killing fathers and
babies, and mothers, old folks being found dead from a robbery,
family suicides, babies being born handicap, blind, deformed, sick,
and all the bad things, my kids now in their 20ties, tell me they
think im right, this is hell, where else can all these terrible horific
things take place but in hell. im catholic and went to bible school
for 12 yrs and remember the readings that would say we are
in the "devils world", that would pi$$ me off cause this is gods world,
but now older and thinking what that man said and what the catholic
would teach me, this is hell. and we have our god, and faith to get
us thru, i know that sounds crazy but it is the only way i can see
why all the evil is out there, come on, you can get killled just sitting
outside your house, just think about it, look around, there are still
good people out there, and we have to stick together, you will see,
it is going to get worse, amen good luck, and godspeed my brothers :wink: remember, just think about it, open yor eyes

I don't think what are saying is wacked... all I know is that the enemy trys everything to make us have PAIN in this world... but God has overcome it. In addition, I see us living in the world as a "test" of our faith having a huge reward on the other side. I think Satan is the prince of this place... but God has dominion over him. We can run w/ the enemy, or have faith in God... & things like death are still going to happen. My problem with faith used to be like having a big ditch to dig, but I never picked up the shovel. Once I picked up the shovel, God helped me dig that ditch; in fact, that ditch got alot smaller. So I don't think what you are saying is wrong or wacked at all... hell, I could be wrong too... but I would rather live as if there was God than run w/ Satan. I think you guys are great & we can all learn from each others expierences & different thoughts. God willing, we will follow him & keep being gearheads until we all croak. Scoot
