IS THERE ANY ADVANTAGE OR DISADNATAGE TO REMOVING MY FENDER WELLS ON MY 86 SS MONTE CARLO I ONLY DRAG RACE IT.

1'st they keep dirt off the motor.
2'nd they help support the fenders at high speed,mine are gutted heavy.
3'rd you can mount stuff to them and keeps wires off your tires.
4'th they weigh nothing
