My wife & I turned in our ballots yesterday (11/3). I followed up with a long prayer on my drive to work. This election was tearing me up- I stand to eventually loose the best job I have ever had if Obama gets elected. Then, I remembered my faith. No matter what happens, God has our backs. It may get tough, but he will carry us through. Obama is just a man... he will reap what he sows. I am turning this thing over to God!! God does not create evil, the enemy does... people do too... Obama is nothing less than one man. There is nothing he can do that God will not redeem us from. This is going to be crazy the next 24 hours... but lets remember our country for what it was founded upon... God!! We have had some bad leaders before, it will not be the last time either. I AM SICK OF TRYING TO PUT FAITH IN POLITICIANS/MEN WHO WILL LET US DOWN & LIE TO US!! Chin up, God it STILL in charge!! God bless you all... "Scooter"

Pray for STRENGTH but STAY INFORMED !
Don't withdraw into the fetal position. In 2 years we can still vote out a bunch of the yahoo's. Seek out and support local and state reps who have the same pro American beliefs as you. It all starts at the local level. KEEP ON KEEPING ON AND FEED THE ECONOMY AS YOU CAN.
DO NOT GIVE UP !

i can't believe that they elected a man with no future for our
country but change, what change? from white to black? when he
first started he said you would see change the first wk he is in
office, then the change would come in 2 yrs, now he said that
their might not be any change in 4 yrs but he would start the change,
and all will not keep his promises, and callers said they did not care.
they just want a different direction. and spreading the wealth, taking
from the rich and just giving to the poor will keep the poor, poor.
well i guess all you wealthy people better get ready, im quiting my
job and going to wait for the money to start spreading my way
while i sit on my a$$, (not) i just saw people dancing on the streets
for obama, lets see if their dancing a yr from now, cheez
you can't put all the blame on bush, the dems did run the congress,
like pelosi who does not what off shore drilling but wants to take
money from the oil company profits to give to the american people
for relief, does that sound right, were in trouble, wheres my
spread the wealth money? 8) oh and someone let me know if the
tax break is for over $250K, $150K, or $90K obama could not
make up his mind but no one realy cares, just send me some money.

In one way, I am happy for the blacks who made history yesterday. On the other hand, I feel sorry for them that the first President had to be OBAMA. We will certainly see change... you can bet on that. Once all the warm & fuzzy Liberals calm down, they will see thier "new change" & Obama's latest social BS.
For the next four years, GOD is my president. He will not give me more than I can handle & I trust him.

From this point on, Political Correctness is dead. Stand up and voice your opinion respectfully, with knowledge, with conviction, and with pride. Do not be afraid of being 'chastised' for doing so. It is STILL OUR United States of America. NOT Palosie's, or Reed's and certainly not Obama's. Work within our system to defeat the Far Left Socialists in the Democratic party. DO NOT GIVE UP ! Then THEY win...

Good advise. I personally have not lived as long as you & not seen as many changes in the USA as you have. We can get our country back. It may take some major mistakes, but maybe that is all for the good. Remember back in 01' after we got bombed.... man, Patriotism was everywhere, American flags all over, lots of support, Bush's approval rating was 84% at that time. In seven years, things changed bigtime! I am sure we can change again back to a balanced Democracy again.

Just don't loose faith or sight of our Constitution or Declaration of Independence and the American PEOPLE. There WILL be sacrifice but stay focused on the mission. We have the ability to adapt and help each other as no other nation on earth. Americans are GOOD people, no matter what the libs say ! Believe in U.S. !! Above all, keep living, laughing, loving !!

truth of the matter if you live in a Blue State and you are Red you need to get with your local Red party ( Republican) and see what you can contribute...
California i can see Blue....But WTF with all the others..
i walked outside last Night and Kissed the Good Ole South Carolina Dirt.

Well Brian, you should be proud of your people... they are true Americans. I am not so lucky... I live in Oregon (I think it was 55%blue & 45% Red). My wife & I voted McCain/Palin too- knowing there are more Dem's here than Republican's. I don't know what happend, in the 70's & 80's we were a Logging state & had a lot of country folks who worked hard & were TRUE Americans... now it is not quite the same. Todays Democrat is different!! Back in the JFK days, I don't think we had the same kind of Liberal Democrat... but who am I... just one guy working for a big gun company who may be looking for a new job now because of our new President.

What you guys should really be worried about is a filibuster proof Senate! There are a few Senate seats still up for grabs and if Reid gets 60 Dems in the Senate then it Katie bar the door!!! Right now there are 57 Dems in the Senate. The Senate race in Mn is in the process of being stolen by the Dems with ballots that are being found in ppls car trunk? Do some research on this one and be very afraid if Al Frankin wins that seat.
Saxby Chambliss in Georga is another one that is in danger as they have to do a "run off" election because neither one got a 50% + 1 majority. Chambliss got 49.8% of the vote and was the leader but he didn't get the majority. Let's hope that the Libertarians in that state will help push Chambliss to a victory.
Senator Ted Stephens of Ak is still involved in a recount but he has been convicted of 7 felonies involving money he took from an oil company. He is going to appeal that conviction but it's a fat chance that he will win it. If he has to resign let's just hope that Sarah will be able to appoint his successor instead of having to do another election.
So again, I'd be more worried about what goes on in the Congress than what Nobama will do as his powers are somewhat limited. Pelosi and Reid, will set the agenda for the next Congress.
And a final note, the reason we're where we are is because when Republicrats had control of all three branches of Government they blew it! Pork barrel spending, more government and corruption put them where they are today! They have NO ONE to blame but themselves! Bush NEVER VETOED the first spending bill until the Dems took control of Congress. Funny, had he shown some fiscal restraint in his first 6 years we might not be in the shape we're in now. THE REPUBLICAN PARTY MUST REBUILD WITHOUT THE BUNCH OF ASSHOLES THAT ARE UP THERE NOW! The only way to rebuild confidence in the party is to start over with fresh faces that actually are conservative and act like one!
OK, I'm done!
TheYellaBrick

I absolutely 100% agree that we need to do a total rebuild of the Conservative Republican Party. We've got 2 years to get dedicated and responsible folks in line to step in for the first step in that rebuild.
Sarah can actually appoint herself as a replacement to Stevens.
In '04 the Dems cried that we 'stole' Florida with zero evidence. This year there is voter fraud evidence all over the place and the Repubs aren't even sqeeking about it. BALLESS-sackless self serving POLITICIANS. :x  :x   :x  :x   :x :x
and here's prime example !!....
