What year did they start welding nova door hinges to the body? The bolted hinges were adjustable.

Don't know for sure, but i think 1968. i know we're building a 1971 and they are welded.

My 70 has them welded.

I have a 68 and they are bolted. I was told long ago, when u could get parts from the junkyard, that 68 was the only year they were bolted for this body style.

70 was the first year they were welded. my 69 were bolted on.

When I saw mine were welded I thought some idiot had done it. I started telling a friend about the moron that welded the doors on my nova and he enlightened me. :oops:
