has anyone ever made a auto silvarado a manual, if so what do you have to do to the ecu? or do you just haveto get a hodrod style harness and start from scratch?

You'll probably have to get an ECU for a manual trans and just tie back the trans harness. You may be able to reprogram the ECU you have, but I'm not sure......
