Basic Question about Brakes

I bought a 67Camaro w/bbc. Runs fine. The problem is there is no feel to the brakes. They pedal is all the way out and there is no play. The line lock doesn't seem to work. The brakes do work however. I'm just wondering what is wrong in the breaking system. The brakes are stock camaro drum.

I would try bleeding the brakes and then adjust them. You could have a crushed or collapsed line. Stopping the car is more important than a fast run, you only lose a race with a slow run.
