I drove to Springfield Missouri last night to meet this guy today to trade with him today he would not call me back this was 800 + miles cost me over 600 dollers with gas & hotel plus my time I called him @ 7:05 am today his wife said he was asleep that she would find the other phone & he would call back well its 9:00 pm I am @ home & have not hered from this guy yet i posted this & man the emails i have got abought him it would be nice if they could band him from this site, if any body decieds to take hime to court some day I would be glad to drive back & tell my story in court these kind of people need to be held responsible for this crap. his add # 1298554

He's been a member since 2004 and has never made an honor payment. Kinda tells you about his character if he's the TRADERGUY. You would think he's sold at least one thing in four years. Sorry, I hope racingjunk will find a way to listen to a large number of members and remove him from Racingjunk.

I tried to deal with him a few years ago and he told some lies that he didn't even need to. The car he had was a piece. I talked to the guy he screwed out of it and nothing Keith told me about it was true. He also has changed his username atleast 3 times since then.

I had a car on listed on here a few years ago and it didn't sell, he wanted it but didn't want to pay my price. I took it off of here and listed it on Ebay. He seen the add and kept calling makin offers. We finally agreed on a buy it now price, as long as he picked it up the next day like he kept promising. He used the buy it now on ebay and disappeared. I called him for 2 weeks asking when he was picking the car up and he kept saying tomorrow or the next day. Then he quit answering his phone. I found his home number and after 2 more weeks his girl friend answered the phone and every time I talked to her after that he was out on the water in his boat. I finally left neg. feedback and he responded by saying that he was at a funeral and couldn't pick it up. I have never been to a funeral that lasted a month or never been to a funeral on my boat for 2 straight weeks.

I don't personally remember it, but I would not doubt it. I really have no interest in him responding to me anyway, his actions in keeping silent are damaging enough to himself. I brought Keith to the forefront simply to keep someone else from being taken by him or his cronies. I know I will not recoup my loss to him, but if reminding folks about his integrity will help some hard working person save his money, not to mention the stress avoided, I will be glad to TTT with this thread as a reminder on occasion (generally when I see he has reposted). :)

i traded with him once,traded a beautiful harley springer for a dodge wayfarer,got their he was in a hurry had to load car and go! that shoulda been first sign to turn away. i brought car home sunk a ton of money in it and loss my ass at auction with. then low and behold TODAY the dumbass sends me a message wanting to trade a harley dresser for my nova i have listed,i told him after the SCREWING i got with the other deal i wouldnt even talk. i am surprised he can even sell on here. I think a person must be HONORABLE to make an honor payment. Keithyboy (aka traderguy) doesn't have ANY honor, so I think it is right in line for him to not make an honor payment, it doesn't make it right, but it is in line with his character traits.

One thing that really stands out to me though about all scammers. They must not think about the safety of their famalies to put them in peril by constantly living with the fear someone is going to show up at their doorstep with a whole lotta ass whoopin with them, or worse.

I know. I do apologize. But i looked at his recent post under his profile and all he does is go around starting crap and puting in his 2 cent in a negative way. I just feel for other people he is doing it to because i know first hand what he can do and the guy is a bad person.Maybe he has personal problems hes dealing with but i dont think he should take his problems out on somebody else he should keep it to himself. Oh and my Christmas has been great just got on here in the forums and seen he hasnt stoped since me. Merry Christmas!!!

Guys i am from Greenup Ky and i have dealed with traderguy and have known him ever since school, He has never done me wrong i'm sure that the trade that you say might have been bad but don't any of guy's ever research a car before you trade? (look at pic's,ask q's, or call the guy)then when you meet the person don't YOU have the right to say NO.
And there is nobody that can't tell me at 1 time or another that you have not told the whole truth about your trade because if you did you would be bashing your own ride and there is none that are perfect just very nice ones.EVERYBODY DOES WRONG! EVERYBODY!
And as far as driving so far to make a trade i would have not stsrted going until the other person was and talk to them atleast every hour on the cell or i would turn around and go back, if i was willing to drive for 600 miles and no answer i would drive the rest to get it done and meet the person.
So if any of you fill like you got BURNT then it's your own FAULT.
AND 1 THING IS FORSURE IF ANYBODY WAS TO MAKE A THRET OF ME OR OF MY FAMILY ESPECIALY ONLINE THEN THEY WOULD NEED TO BACK IT UP BECAUSE SOMEONE WOULD DEFF. BE SHOWING UP AT SOMEONES DOORSTEP!!!

I've also observed how the real loud whiners do NOT 'READ' nor comprehend the original post/s before ripping into someone. Course, I see that all over the web no matter WHAT the subject matter.

I was just telling the truth if you trade then you are as much to blame as the next if you make a bad 1.
When i get a bad 1 i take my lumps and go on with my life.
But i have never threatend someones family over a trade i just don't deal with them anymore. I also can understand if you would get upset but point the blame at yourself first, nobody ever says (boy was'nt i a dumbass for trading on this car) it's always the other guys fault.
And anykind of a friend would take up for the other, that does'nt mean that i'm a bad guy I just think that it's wrong to bash someones family over you making a stupid trading decision, thats just my opinion.

If you think that statement was a threat, you have misunderstood the statement. Thieves, conmen, liars, etc., you know, like Keith the traderguy of Ashland ,KY., they should think about the peril they put their families in by being a crook. Although I would never do anything to put my family in dire straits for being stupid (like kicking the shit outa Keith), I do not doubt that there are folks that would KILL for alot less than the $6 or $7 grand your "friend" cheated me and my family out of. If you can't get Keith in here then he must not be a great friend. Be sure to tell him I said he is a liar and a thief. Remember what I said about guilt by association Tom! When he refuses to come in here, remind him that YOU came in here and took up for him. When he still refuses to come in here, I would certainly wonder why a man won't defend himself.
BTW, we really appreciate the lesson in trading. I am sure not one person knows that they are partially to blame when a deal goes sour. That doesn't give someone a ticket to lie, such as your friend, Keith the traderguy did. I am guessing you will be sitting on your cars for awhile Tom, you really should not have associated yourself with this guy, guilt by association!! Remember that when you try to work your deals Tom.

I must have misinterpeted the meaning of showing up at someones house and there family's life being in danger, but don't you think that if i did someone else would also? I mean talk about breakin the law, do you relize buy saying that if something was to happen you would be first on the list for the law to contact? I would be pissed also if i had made a bad deal but i also like to watch what i say so that i can and will be able to trade again weather i make a good trade or a bad 1. I did not mean to insult anybody but when i see anybody that is someone i know being threated i WILL stand up for them if they have never done me any wrong, and that i'm sure everybody on here at some point in time has knowing or not knowing.
As far as my cars go i don't care if they sell or not i do this for a hobby i do not need the money that bad I just love the cars(all of them)!
My cars people can see for thereself if they like them or not i do not care there mine. and i have a few! anyways peace. Tom

I completely understand about what you are saying about your relationship with Keith. I dare say we all know someone that we like and possibly trust that has had their integrity questioned. At no time did I take anything you said as an insult, you have approached this subject respectfully. I know for a fact that Keith lied to me about the vehicle I received from him, but, without Keith coming in to defend himself, I am keeping the details in check. It does however, involve a 1972 Vega and
a John Deere 790 4wd tractor w/loader & implements. I really hope you do sell your rides Tom, you seem like a good guy, it seems Keith should feel lucky to call you a friend.............
