Any should work. I'd just tell them it's for a C1500 to keep it simple....

On my motor I had to put a o-ring on the shoulder of the dipstick tube where it goes into the pan and then silicon the hell out of it. Now its dry as a popcorn fart down there now.

Is it blowing the dipstick out? Or leaking where it goes in the block at the bottom?

Pull out the dipstick and put a freezeplug in the hole. I have a site pulg in the side of my oil pan and with this setup no leaks!!!!!

The plugs that go around the cam fit.

I have a dipstick tube that I welded a strap to to bolt it in the block right below the dipstick. You could do the same and add some silicone to it before you slide it in..should fix the issue. I was using a chrome dipstick too. I can probably post a picture sometime if needed..
