what should the pa be have a 81 camaro with cal trac, mono leafs and 9 way shocks how do i go about checking this?have the car track ready with me in it?thanks in advance!

2-4 deg. Pinion angle should be the difference between the drive shaft angle and the pinion down angle. Put an angle gauge on each the difference is your pinion angle.

Thats how u find p angle on drag cars......
go to sears but 30.00 mag dig angle finder, @ static ride height u should have between 5-8 deg of pinon angle on yoke of rear end

Sounds like Drag car is what he has to me. Besides doesn't matter if it's a street car or drag car the angle is found the same way. 5-8 on one might not be 5-8 on another. Since he and I both have the same body style and similar setups (mine had ladder bars) 2-4 should be right on. Also if you check it the way you suggest, the ride height or rake from front to rear would have an affect on the angle you get. IMO :wink: Checkout this link, describes it perfectly.
