MAKE SURE THE INSIDE SCREWS ARE IN LINE WITH THE OUTSIDE SCREWS.

make sure you use 1 of the screws to run in the holes after there drilled to give them some sort of tread in the rim. It will make for an easier job when tire is mounted.

What is the formula to figure out the spacing.I was going to put 8 screws on each side. The rim is 15". Thanks

A wheel is a circle, a circle is 360 degrees, 360 dregrees divided by 8 rim screws = 45 degrees apart...

I use neither, I mark them to start year and they dont usually turn it they turn i put screws in but more often then not they dont turn. 1.04 60ft best without turning at all, I've seen some turn 1/4 way in 1 pass though. its best to not screw mark then if needed screw

with lots of grip, aggressive tread and low tire pressures like that i would use bead locks. the best place i've seen to get them is from speedway motors. the mudders around here get from them and putem on and have fun in the mud.

David,
How do you know the tire did not spin 2 1/4 revolutions? Or 3 1/4?
If it only slipped a quarter, I don't see any problem at all. What's a quarter of a rotation...2 feet? Not much in 3280 feet.

I sure he marks the rim and tire. Not using screws makes it alot easier to balance also. My rim and wheel have a magic marker line on the tire to the wheel. It ran all year and moved less than an 1/8 of an inch.
